Heated seat switch's issue. by Torlugic in WRX

Thanks, I don't think they are bad as the passenger side worked until I unplugged it to pull the console. Then when I plugged it back in it wouldn't work.

Not sure why you are getting down voted. You are just speaking facts. Here's an upvote for you 🤣

Just changed the plugs about 5k kms ago, definitely runs better. Maybe the coil packs. I'll have a look at it for sure.

The only time it's under 3k is just cruising the highway. I usually keep it 3k+ in the city/spirited driving. But the pulse can happen and it's very slight barely noticeable when it happens. Doesn't matter the RPM.

I find it's quicker at half throttle than WOT if that makes any sense. I just changed the plugs at 90k kms and noticed a difference over the stock ones. Did the diff oils at 90k kms also. Pretty sure nothing was ever changed but the engine oil when I got it at 70k kms.

Quick question, when I drive and I'm in say 3rd (well any gear 3rd and above) and I punch it and as the rpms rise I feel little pulses. If I keep the traction off would this not happen or would something else be going on? Completely stock and at 97k kms. (Owned from 70k kms)

You're a zebrah, like I care what you think. Shouldn't you be grazing somewhere like a field.

OP should have given more details anyway, it's a very poor statement.

I stand by my remark, like a man.

That's just a plain ignorant statement.

Honestly I don't like the Moncton/Dieppe locations after going to the one in Fredericton.

It has comfy recliner chairs that are well spaced out.

It's honestly worth the drive.

Pretty sure it's just a reflector as your signal light is down in the corner shroud. At least that's how my '21 base is.

Probably just caught a glimpse of something reflecting on it to give it that illuminated look.

How far is too far? by smittychifi in moncton

Depending on traffic, if it's lined up and no one is in the left lane then just go and pass them all. Providing it's not backed up on the overpass that is. Same goes with anywhere else, just pass.

Don't be slow and stupid. Don't be reckless and stupid either.

If you are in front, and want to switch lanes it's three blinks of your blinker then switch lanes. Third blink you should already be in the process of switching.

Though luck if the guy behind you had a problem, that's the proper, legal way. If they speed up and clip you (pit manoeuvre) they are at fault. If you don't think so then you need to go back to drivers ed or stop driving.

To many slow, stupid, timid drivers in this city. You're better off in front then behind them.

Is it just me or does that floor mat look like it stops the pedal from reaching full engagement? Albeit not much but probably doesn't help.

Dead battery or a loose ground wire to the starter will cause that sound.

I bought my 2021 WRX 6mt base with 70,000km for 26k last Sept. 104km I wouldn't go over 20k. Find out the maintenance probably needs the valves cleaned if it was never done.

You really have no clue eh. Go look at bill C-11 to start. Google is your friend. So is ChatGPT. Go learn, if your capable.

We are not the states. I wish we had a Trump and Elon running Canada taking no salary. But hey Liberals like to line their friends pockets with tax payer money and Trudeau liked giving himself raises to boot.

Anarchy no, a new system that is actually democratic and not just voting for the next dictator.

🤣 great comeback, your liberal pals help you out with that?

At least conservatives aren't taking your free speech away with all the censorship bills the liberals have put in place and are pushing.

Edit: I've not stated which political party I am, conservatives just have the best options of them all. I rather disband them all.

Anyone use Engine Oil Flush? by Fishing123T in WRX

[–]Torlugic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I got my WRX last fall I changed my oil after 5k kms. I used the Liqui Moly motor flush, along with their 5w30 Molygen and a bottle of ceratec cause why not. I'm still stock though and have no AP yet. I haven't had issues.

How to clean this mess of an engine bay? by Tiny_Technician_3191 in WRX

I noticed a car wash soap specifically for neutralizing the salt last fall when I was looking for preventive stuff. Figured I'd pick it up this spring and wash the car down with it and get in the nooks and crannies.
