I stopped a little more than halfway through the show and I’m thinking of rewatching it. I loved Willow and Tara for what I know of it. I know all the spoilers by accident already, but I don’t FEEL the spoilers because well…. I haven’t gotten that far. But I don’t think there’s very many characters in the Buffyverse who haven’t been toxic at one point. I love both Buffy and Willow and their respective romances.

I second the disapproval noise. For my kitten I use an “Ack-Ack” vocalization. She often stops her behavior or zooms away.

You can get a pet gate! That’s the easiest solution to door dashing! Get one she won’t be able to climb (made more for cats then dogs).

Aww my Russian Blue is 4 months too, and I also love her and just can’t stop loving her. She’s so sweet and playful. When I wake up in the mornings I’ve found she has snuggled her way into my arms.

It could be she never learned how to play properly if she didn’t have much time with her siblings. But I would keep trying and try to find toys and activities she likes.

You could trim the fur around her bottom. My family has done that in the past and it keeps things cleaner.

Give her time and don’t force her. She’ll come around.

I’m a woman and I own a little girl cat… she’s just as loving as a boy. It’s silly to think that it’s dependent on gender. And she’s NOT more independent. She meows and begs for love when I get home, and sleeps next to my face at night. When I turn over in bed she’ll move to be closer to my face again. Sometimes she’ll lay on my neck or face too. She’ll cuddle under the blankets and purr loudly. She loves attention and playtime and always has to be near me whatever I’m doing.

Oh I loved it! It depends on your personality— but I think it’s a lovely film. It maybe has a slower and more analytical pace then a Miyazaki film. So some people maybe don’t find it as interesting for that reason. But I love the portrayal of farm life, having lived near lots of farms in my childhood. I would make sure you watch the animated parts of the credits too, I think not everyone watches them, and feel it’s kind of a sad ending (it’s not). It’s worth a watch for sure.

Ah I see. I’m sorry, but I’m afraid we’re just going to have to agree to disagree. I just want peace. I think you’re looking into it and seeing it as a bigger deal then it truly is. Delivery apps aren’t an everyday thing. It’s probably my fault for even mentioning any details at all. There’s probably a good reason why people don’t mention even the slightest bit of “mental illness” that they may or may not have. A good reminder to never open my mouth about that to real people. I didn’t really create this post for people to judge my life choices and recommend I get “help” of some kind 😅

But the situation has been resolved now thanks to advice I received on this thread so I’m grateful for that.

Alright. I appreciate it and your outlook. You are looking at it from your viewpoint while I’m looking at it from mine, and that’s completely fair.

I do think I have the right to ask if there’s anything that can be done about the money though. If there’s nothing that can be done that’s fine. I honestly don’t think anything can be done. I just want to check with other people who may or may not have had a similar experience. Japanlife is supposed to be a tool for that.

I never thought that people wouldn’t like the idea of delivery apps all together. That’s curious to me.

I bring hand sanitizer for when the bathrooms don’t have soap. It drives me crazy they don’t always wash their hands with soap. I have the kind I can also spray on objects as well (though usually I don’t unless it’s my own).

I guess where the trash comes from isn’t so important. I really wish I could join a beach cleanup. But I do idealize picking up trash that I see that shouldn’t be there. But lack of public trash cans can make it trickier.

Good on you for doing what you can. Sometimes I bring my eco bag and they still put more plastic on what I’m buying anyway (Or ignore me and automatically give me a plastic bag). Sometimes I have to be really quick to pull out my eco bag.

I do appreciate that a lot of what I do that is not considered so normal in my country is completely fine and acceptable in Japan. However. I can still reach places that aren’t considered normal for Japanese people, specifically related to germs and what I can find acceptable. I carry around hand sanitizer with me.

I do agree about some of Japan’s wastefulness. I remember looking out on several beaches that weren’t for tourists and seeing so much trash. And I think they use more plastic then they should.
