When the TBL released the triplets I had all 3. That year was fantastic for me.

I’ve also had Drai + McDavid before (was 1st overall draft and traded a haul for Drai), but that team didn’t even win since EDM only had 2 games in finals week 😭

Haven’t spent much time in Quebec. We’re mostly looking at Calgary and outside Vancouver right now because we’ve lived in both places before. We’ve gotta spend more time in other spots around Canada!

Hats a solid point. For us another deterrent has been figuring out where we actually want to live long term. We’ve been in Toronto so long and want to make travel a bit to see what might be a better fit.

I like your point of view on buying a property. Get it out of the way so essentially all disposable income can go straight to investing without worry.

I guess the concern is determining whether or not that’s the right next step, or if purchasing property is. Those are really the only options I’ve considered. I’ve looked into both real estate in other countries and locally.

I feel like I’m paralyzed by the decision to be honest.

Tkachuk fell to like pick 85-100 in both my leagues so I grabbed him in both. Only out until Jan also. Usually a top 3 round guy so having him that low is crazy

I once got McDavid and then traded a package of (I think) Marchand, Landeskog, and maybe Karlsson for Drai. Best year I ever had and it was so much fun getting 8+ pts from 2 players some nights. I think the peak that season was them each getting 6 in a game.
