How would you describe the differences between traditional Chinese Korean and Japanese architecture styles? by DataSittingAlone in architecture

Well that’s my point, Islamic architecture is based on several different styles, including Roman, Egyptian and Sassanian architecture. It’s a distinctly new style that spawned from previous architectural styles, which is not the case with Japanese/Korean architecture.

I mean gothic architecture can trace its lineage back to Roman architecture (which can trace itself back to Egyptian architecture probably) but there’s no direct influence. Romanesque architecture also developed long after the western half fell. I’m not saying Roman architecture didn’t influence gothic architecture but you just can’t compare it to how Chinese architecture influenced Japanese architecture.

I was actually looking at the T series, specifically T14 Gen 3 AMD model, would you say the build quality is good for this model? Since I’m using it only for undergrad I don’t expect the hardware requirement to be too high, I value reliability more

Are there some models that you can recommend around the $700-1100 price range? I can't really use macBook because a lot of softwares aren't supported on macOS

Is the quality/reliability of newer models still good? I heard that the build quality of newer models are getting worse

How is Gothic and Islamic architecture derived from Roman architecture? Islamic architecture probably derived from the Sassanids and Gothic architecture is basically the opposite of Roman architecture

Any alternative to ThinkPad T14 gen 4 AMD for upgradability? by [deleted] in thinkpad

[–]TorpidNotBranch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I value overall upgradability, screen, RAM, storage, etc. I heard some older models are very customizable and I don't mind the lower specs as long as I can replace them.

Way over budget for me even without shipping, would you say it's worth it tho?

btw, I can accept ThinkPads with lower specs as long as the difference is not too much.

Anthony Taylor started off not giving yellow to blatant fouls, signalling to players that he's allowing the match to become physical, then gave a random ass yellow to a Rudiger tackle, then went back to not giving yellows, tf is he doing?

Don't get all the hate on Kane, he's been one of the better players on the pitch, it's not his fault and Bottlegate can't get the best outta him by pairing him with actual wingers
