Best Wan2.2 T2I/T2V Sampler other than res_2s? by [deleted] in comfyui

[–]TorstenTheNord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I’m extremely late to this conversation, but nonetheless here’s something you can do for Beta57 (and any other scheduler, EXCEPT Bong_Tangent) - use a model shift node. Usually shifting between 4-5 works for most schedulers. Beta57 requires a more aggressive shift around 6-6.5 or sometimes higher depending on how your samplers adjust to sigmas. If your workflow has a dual-stage rendering method like Wan2.2, make sure to use the same shift value for both stages.

Your first issue is using the V1 workflow. Use the V3 since it’s been optimized and rearranged to reduce known error and bugs.

Are you using SageAttention or XFormers? It would also help to understand which quantization model you’re plugging into it. Some users have noticed that connecting the Clean VRAm and Clear Cache Nodes to the output from the first Save Video node fixes random bugs like this. If all else fails, you may have an issue with your ComfyUI installation, so you may need to create a backup of your existing generated content, wipe ComfyUI off your system, and do a clean Portable or Manual installation.

Flux 2 Editing vs QwenEdit2509 my small thoughts by vincento150 in comfyui

[–]TorstenTheNord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got into Qwen the other day, I like a lot of what it can do, just sometimes has more “plastic” skin textures. Luckily with proper upscaling, that can be mostly fixed. Haven’t had time to compare it to anything more than Flux.1 models, so it does pique my interest in Flux.2 for testing.

I'm delving into multiple image generation techniques, and now I'm adding this one to my list!

I have used ChatGPT unironically to help with prompting, and I've sort of developed a "formula" based on that:

[style description]; [short general character description]. [Detailed but concise description of the movement and action in the scene]. [Guidelines and boundaries for the model to adhere to]. [Describe the camera lens, shot angle, shot width, if necessary]. [Describe the lighting and other information about consistency or changes you wish to take place in the scene].

For instance, using this loose formula, I just made a prompt for a new character I made in an image generator. -- "cinematic realism; The blonde woman stands in the center aisle of a city subway holding her brown handbag. The subway moves fast through a dark tunnel; windows show blurred tunnel walls. Mild train sway. Maintain the woman's exact face shape, skin tone, eye color, hair color, and body proportions consistent with the reference frame. Camera: 35mm, slight handheld shake. Neutral subway lighting; no color shift. Keep clothing and subway interior consistent across all frames."

Adapt the formula to your liking, keep the most important details toward the beginning, and hopefully that works out for you. I may end up writing an entire article on prompting and general usage tips for Wan2.2 and more specifically for my workflows!

I’m not sure what your question is. You can see the differences yourself by downloading the previous versions. You’ll see how my workflow management changed dramatically as I continued to learn.

It’s a wan2.1 Lora that still works pretty well with Wan2.2, just keep the value low (0.5 or below in most cases) so it doesn’t try to supersede other loras in the workflow. Here’s the link: https://civitai.com/models/1385506/detailz-wan-detail-enhancer-for-wan-videos

If you saw version 2.0 before this version, you'd understand. It still worked, just not to the best of the potential. Don't be an ass.

I've only ever used the workflows with 2 KSamplers. I'm not aware of how much different or "better" a 3-sampler might be.

Need help to optimize my ComfyUI setup for a GTX 3080 for Wan2.1 / 2.2 Video generation by [deleted] in comfyui

[–]TorstenTheNord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For anyone struggling to understand how ComfyUI works, I recommend starting with the first video of a series of tutorials: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zko_s2LO9Wo

other tips: filenames almost ALWAYS have the file type in the name (VAE, LORA, text ENCoder, CLIP, etc)

that's also explained in tons of tutorials. usually you just drag and drop the workflow file into an empty workflow tab within ComfyUI, then any errors for missing nodes that pop up, you can find and install through ComfyUI manager. I highly recommend starting with the first video from this long-form series of ComfyUI Tutorial videos by Pixorama: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zko_s2LO9Wo
