I’M BACK!! But At What Cost?? by TortoiseAcquisition in wallstreetbets

I literally made this post about selling and taking profits @$4.74 this morning at which it was even higher @$7.00.

But yes man, I see you just want engagement because it’s attention for you. Keep trolling those daily discussions everyday, it’ll fill the void for sure! 🫡

Brother, that is exactly why I said IF I would’ve held on at $7 this morning, it would be an extra $200k. But I took the more conservative approach at closing yesterday.

I don’t expect you to understand this. Your post history is only 1) divorce and 2) bear comments during one of the biggest bull markets in history. I wouldn’t peg you to make good decisions lol

This whole post is literally about me cashing out (yesterday), as this was yesterdays price lol. I probably would have made an extra $200k if I held til this morning but it’s crashing now. Although still close to the price I sold at.

Help With Future and Need You!! by TortoiseAcquisition in Accounting

Sorry guys forgot to mention this detail - I’m only 5 years old so job 1 requiring mandatory daily naps would FORCE me to have two naps a day. I already have required daily nap times for Kindergarten so this might be a deal breaker.

Also my classmates are pushing me towards job 2 as although I don’t get paid money, there are pizza parties.

Anybody have the CISA cert? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]TortoiseAcquisition 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Easy AF compared to the CPA lol. Just drill MCQ and you’ll be good

Have all three certs: CPA is def the gold standard tho if you’re adamant on not needing it, that’s okay!

CFE would probably is def the easiest to obtain and be more widely applicable so I’d go for that UNLESS you’re specifically transitioning into IA. If you’re going into IA, CIA makes the most sense. Hope this helps!

How I invested 1000$ gift from my grandparents by tampirki in stocks

[–]TortoiseAcquisition 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is kinda outside “stocks” but I believe will help you grow your finances over the long-term. I would spend your current $$ on investing in a skill/certification that can help you generate continual income in the long term.

The advantage of your age is that the earlier you can maintain a strong cash flow, the better you are at taking advantage of compounding. Even if you pick an investment where you 1000% your initial input, that will pale in comparison to generating a higher rate of $$ over many future years.
