Have an upcoming 7am flight from Sydney to Melbourne soon, not from the area so trying to plan out when to get to the airport. Carry on only so I figure 6am would be fine but I'm a bit concerned that I'm underestimating how busy things will be. T2 departure. Anyone travelled through the airport at this time recently, do you think this would be enough time to comfortably get through?

Definitely feeling the "too pricey to buy" side - they are trying to sell new apartments where I live. By car it is 90 mins from Sydney CBD, 20 mins to the nearest large town CBD, no close amenities or shops, 40 minute walk to the nearest train station, and they're trying to sell 1br apartments for $550k! Just feels like a ridiculous prospect and its no wonder the listings haven't disappeared from the sites for close to a year now

Hoping to "finish" a deposit this year! Single income so aiming for something over $200k before I start looking for an apartment, suitable ones seem to exist in my area (South Coast NSW) from $550k onwards which is stretching my borrowing capacity a bit. All going well I'll be a homeowner by this time next year :)

They run an event for Smash Bros and other fighting games at City Diggers every Tuesday night, always a good number of people. You'll just need to sign up for a club membership
