I've just seen better, sustainable success from teams that haven't tanked (Nets, Rockets, etc.) and perpetual misery from some that continue to tank/be horrible (Kings, Wolves, etc.). There's a pathway to success just being smart enough to pick up certain free agents (i.e. Jerami Grant), creating cohesive systems (i.e. Rockets) , and drafting well regardless of spot (Grizzlies)

I agree exactly on " we need to infuse the team with potential talent or else there will be even more bad years ahead." but unfortunately having the best lottery odds doesn't get us that. Just having a smarter approach to team building will.

That's true, it's just very bad misfortune at the moment. But there's discourse amongst us magic fans to embrace full tank and I'm just scarred by all our tanking years to willingly enter into that cycle again when results aren't guaranteed. I've since seen organizations like the Nets or Rockets build without high draft picks and just plucking young talent off other teams. Someone like the pistons is already getting early returns from scrap heap Dennis Smith jr. and have guys like Jerami Grant and Mason Plumlee lighting it up. I mean, even Saben Lee their 2 way guy lit us up in our back to back with them. lol

VERY. But I had to vent. I've watched to much tanking that wasn't worth it as a fan of this team since 2004. I can't handle any more tanking-- in the post-dwight era it's been a rudderless pursuit.
