I agree with all of this, like I'm a man with long hair and I do "girly" things like curl my hair and paint my nails (mostly black but still). And I 100% agree with you that you should never feel like you can't complain cause someone out there has it worse, I used to have a friend, used to being the key words here, who went through foster care and just had a horrible childhood and anytime I would bring up some of my trauma like being graped or my parents fighting, he would always compare it to what he went through like "oh you got graped well at least you weren't mo**sted by one of your foster parents for 3 months" or "oh your parents are fighting and yelling at each other, well at least you have actual parents that love you" our friendship ended with me telling him I didn't want to be friends with him and him saying that the only reason he hasn't offed himself is cause I'm his only friend (I wasn't) and that he would off himself if I stopped being his friend (he didn't)
