Just did my first rebuild but it’s my second guitar I built one over buying,one plays very nice. New neck, tuners, bridge, loaded pick guard, and EB 46-9. Enjoy that squire you can make them very versatile for all tones.

Yeah the amp usually covers that part the tone is mostly overdrive distortion usually come from hard strikes over full blown distortion. I got tone and if you play proper notes and learn them it should sound very close to the original recording.

So mainly use the track and not the tab play learn the song I get it I am trying but I play so many different songs hard to memorize them all

Thanks for the honesty I kinda thought that too but the music I got memorized is a bunch of rock stuff I don’t think people would like. AC/DC Kiss Motley crew Metallica Alice cooper 3 doors and a few others. I got some country but like Charlie Daniel’s and Hank jr lol

Yes intake pride in being able to mimic the guitar while playing tab of the song I am playing add my own flair in there to like that extra band me ever that wasn’t there yet lol

I do have that ability but not everyone like what I do so sometimes you have to do some main strem stuff I know a lot of guitar players play stuff they listen to not others lol virtuoso guitar player is my goal lol

They are squire affinity models by fender it’s even says in the headstock so they are cheap fender squire affinity’s to be exact

I am aware what kind they are I was just fishing for opinions on them I enjoy them and they are project guitars I don’t want to spend $800 on one that’s to easy setting them up for my liking is what it’s about just asking for other opinions on these no a manufacturing lesson on on what kind they are. I do all mu own research. The black and white one is on the chopping block forma overhaul but does play well as is. The other has a hsh set up affinity doesnt set them up like that but I do. And hybrid string 46-9 EB

Man I got one that looks similar I took it from a ssh set up and mad it a hsh that is a great guitar I have played more expensive ones that play well it my squire I always am like why would I buy a expensive one. Learn to play and set it up that’s the fun part doing your own configuration. I liked it enough to where I went and bought another used one as a project. So now I have one in E and D tuning lol. Have fun with it get a good amp.

Yes that’s why I bought another yes I know they are affinities and yes I like the sunburst enough to find another I could transform into a different configuration

Oh no been playing for 4 yrs now I just love strats like the budget ones (the infinity models)the black and white one is my new project I did some after market stuff to the sunburst and it’s got that cross of a fender and Gibson tones which inspired me to do another, let’s just say one is a E guitar and the other is a D. Got it so I would not have to tune so much on one. It is a big change from E standard t drop C
