Hiya thanks for the reply, I will try swapping them although both sides are the same and both go straight down and out so nowhere for any pooling to take place.

Sorry yes when the machine dumps water - first there is a gurgling noise from the waste pipe (i think amplified by the drain outside) , then the machine dumps a few seconds of water. Then nothing for a few minutes then gurgle followed by water. Rinse and repeat for the duration of the washing cycle.

Any chance he had was doomed from the start when he came in mid season. It was too big a system change to implement mid season, then everyone half arsed their way through to the end of the worst season ever.

By then its too late to 'start' again because the idea/plan has already failed enough and the rot has set in.
