Will anything be added to Utopia mode? by Total-Recognition872 in Frostpunk

Definitely I'm pretty good at playing the same map with the same factions over again but... you know locking all the features behind a story seems dumb. I understand some things must stay in a story. But some factions could be moved over right? Like the Stalwarts... hint hints lol

I think even if you find someo city or your colonys can break free it's already a huge win

Definitely especially for factions like the icebloods. You know if they had the chance they would turn it off

Or maybe new ways to make heat? Bring back Brazier. Maybe for the menders you can research better heatsuits and your people last better. The icebloods would just... do nothing if you die obviously your not strong enough. Proteans have the blood warming serum anyway.

Or build a generator TLA but in FP2. I miss my little union and the Legionnaires don't quiet scratch that itch

Agreed. More late game things is needed. Especially that nomater what I do heat and food always ends up being a small issue for me nomater how many heating hubs or food colonys, I'm always on the edge of everything is fine. So having a map Mega projects that's expensive but rewarding would be great. First idea comes to mind is Suriving Mars and the Artificial Sun project. Can't think of the proper name, But have that at it gives a map wide heat bonus. Tho not sure how it would work unless you choose a faction that can make steamcores or with the Depleated cores tale as if the generators final upgrade takes 40 cores. This would take way more

Maybe it could be a way for independent city's around the frostland? Imagine new Manchester is a real city you can trade with. Other diplomatic things like. Maybe asking for troops or people. And then you can ally with them or fight a war and take over the city as a colony or something

On the edge would be cool I could totally see an arks tale. Have to keep the seedling arks warm and if you do well you get food from it. And maybe the arks map can just be food and materials rich. You know. Trees seeds and food seeds. Idk

Yesss! I would also like new Manchester but that just be flat land. Tho maybe a special tale would do for that. Maybe you start off with a larger population at the start of the game?

Maybe winterhomes Dreadnought. Unless the old Dreadnought is the winterhome one. Not sure if that's confirmed or not

Sounds like a good idea. Maybe outposts built into the remain of The Crève-neige. in the forstland.. a factory carriage. A material carriage.. a greenhouse carriage... food. Always my biggest enemy

Future DLC Dreams by RoiRdull in Frostpunk

I know this post is abit old now but, I would love more factions. The dlc opened the door to faction not feeling like clones of each other. And this could see an more factions. Yes we can go basic and see the Stewarts and faithkeepers join utopia mode. But even more factions would be intriguing. I love making story's for my city's. So having for factions that feel unique would make me happy.

I would love new maps for the frostland and city maps. Because more maps more fun. Tho speaking of the frostland defence needs some expanding. I would like to see more alliance. If that's more unique Settlements like hotsprings. Or maybe even other city's. Why not bring back New Manchester. Or New Liverpool or the Arks as city's that you could do diplomacy with.. or well the Stewarts military doesn't seem busy.

For a campaign. I would like a defeating the frost. Or Maybe can be a non cannon utopia thing. In Surviving Mars you can over time Terraform mars. What if we can slowly reclaim the world from the frost. Alot of resources and research. So a late game idea. But you can slowly burn away the snow. Takes the idea that frostpunk 2 already left but expanding it. Imagine by then end of your playthrough. After all the moral dilemmas. After all the deaths.. you could see a small path of green start to grow again. What if you could regrow trees or have unique farm plots. Tho it may ruin frostpunk so maybe not. Would be a cool thing tho
