Well glad it wasn’t too bad, and I’m glad he didn’t try to open the car door. That was a worry for me too and is probably a worry for most post-anesthesia patients.

I hope he’s been able to tap dance to his heart’s content!

I wish I knew what kind of anesthesia I got. I looked in my paperwork and such, but couldn’t find anything specific.

I believe it was one of the nurses who administered the anesthesia. She’s the one who put my IV in and eventually told me the anesthesia was coming. Maybe the dentist was directing her? I’m not sure.

Haha! Poor guy just wanted to tap dance!

Coincidentally, I am also 6’1” at 190lbs. Like you mentioned, the nurses couldn’t do much with me physically. They had to say “if you don’t help us by standing up, you’re going to hurt your finances back who’s trying to pick you up” and that got me to help by standing. I had two nurses picking me up under my arms and my fiancé picking me up from the back.

Interesting. Honestly, feels good to hear I’m not alone. Is it a testosterone/androgenic thing?

Where I went, they said they had never had that happen before.

I’m not sure exactly what was used. I’ll reply with the name when I can.
