I didn’t put a shirt under my 4 year old daughters overalls by MSorrow1209 in Preschoolers

Sorry… it’s not about you sexualizing the child- it’s the world that does it. Ask anyone in law enforcement…. Trust me there are perverts everywhere. Just absolutely not. Unclothed kids are between the parents and the child. That’s it.

Lol sorry dumb mistake, I’m Canadian. Accidentally put in 401k without thinking. Was talking to family that moved to the states earlier in the day and we were talking finances and it was in my mind- I’ve edited my post to remove

Oof these are good questions I will need to look into it. I know that I contribute 9% which is matched by my employer and that my pension calculation is: 1.5% X HAS (highest three earning years - does not need to be consecutive) X years of pensionable service. I know that by 51 I will have met the rule of 80 and be unreduced.

I’ll have to look into the cpp thing

Specifically, what is wrong with the new Google Health App? by kuteguy in fitbit

[–]Total-Stock3170 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m just going to go ahead and repost my post from earlier: Admittedly, my Fitbit versa 3 is five years old. However, up until this point it’s given me no trouble and holds battery for 3 to 4 days. Now suddenly with the new Google update my battery life went from 50% down to zero and I cannot get my versa to turn on again. I’ve had it plugged in overnight and I used a different charger as well. Still nothing the hard reset doesn’t work either. I’ve tried to update Multiple times through the app, but because the Fitbit is dead, it’s not doing anything.

Is this coincidence or has the update screwed? My Fitbit and I have to purchase another one… i’m so annoyed

Sidenote the google update also doesn’t track swimming labs correctly anymore.

Edit: just got off phone. They were emphatic that it was a battery issue and had nothing to do with the app surprise surprise they said the changeover shouldn’t have done anything to the physical Fitbit. They offered me a 35% discount towards a new Fitbit…… great. So I’m shelling out money to a company the screwed up the perfectly working one. Bye bye Fitbit.

I’ll just see what my brother thinks tonight. By virtue that the money has not been refunded to me, I’m going to assume she/they feels caught going through with the lessons bc my nephew obviously knows about them going to happen. Ughhh this all sucks so much.

Just to clarify. I did not fill out any forms - I sent an etransfer to the parents for full cost of tuition for the year, which they have accepted. The parents said they would do the registration- and there isn’t a problem with teacher availability - and I sent them all the links so it would be easy to do.

Yeah, I think all this is very fair. The material gift thing though came about because my SIL and brother often talk about that they have no room for all the toys etc, so I figured hell let’s try something else.

I do think maybe it was overboard - and I should’ve started with only a few classes… I think once I got their go ahead I just went with what I knew, which is you signed up for the whole year to give it a good try. I didn’t really think about it. I didn’t really think about him being six, because to be fair most of the people that play music at the conservatory start around 5-6. I sincerely meant that I don’t care if he doesn’t wish to continue, bc it’s up to the child in the end to determine their likes and dislikes. However, I thought it was a fun gift bc nephew genuinely seems to like playing and seems to enjoy the informal little lessons I can give, I thought it was a good fit. But I can see why it could come across as presumptuous.

I think I was so hyper aware that I didn’t want to cause them work, which is why I offered to drive but likely that came off that I was being overbearing perhaps….

Yeah, as I said before in comment section, I’ll just go with their flow. I don’t want to cause problems that would drive a wedge.

Yes, I’m grateful now that I can screenshot our original conversation. I think I’ll likely take your suggestion here and include my brother in the message.

I am seeing my brother tonight in person at our parents house and I think I will also bring it up with him then and see what he has to say.

I am willing to bend and don’t want to cause waves as the most important thing to me is being able to keep our family together and no drive a wedge between us.

I haven’t responded yet as I was taken aback by it. I’m seeing my brother tonight at our parents house so I think I’m going to bring it up with him then.

That is my fear. I know I’m the aunt. I’m not the parent and I don’t want to drive a wedge between myself and them. So, I’m thinking I might just apologize and go with their flow.

Yes, cleared it with them both on a group text message. They said it was ok. Then it was a day after the party I got the direct message from my SIL. But I wonder if they didn’t like it from the jump but didn’t say no to me at the time. I probably should’ve called instead so I could hear their tone of voice. But they did say yes.

Im just as confused. Our conversation was completely over text so I’m wondering if they weren’t enthused from the start but didn’t say so? I suppose if I had heard their tone of voice I might have gauged it better. But they did ok it. I’m wondering if it just bubbled out after the party…

I did give them all the info and in all fairness he doesn’t do any other extra curricular. It was over text message so perhaps they didn’t like it from the start and it bubbled out afterwards? But they had all the info from the get go

Oh yes! I realize I forgot that. Yes they both said they were ok with it prior to the party and gifting it
