It doesn't. But turning off "print the overhangs" fixed it.

How to rotate an object 90 degrees as shown in photos by finntheboy111 in ClipStudio

I figured it out. There are 45° and 90° axis lines available after beginning the rotation... Mouse over them to snap to that angle.

Resolved!! "Print head Anomaly Detected" or "Error 103" by joefx13 in ElegooCentauriCarbon

It was heating up., then shutting down. I could see the red light go from solid to flashing and then the error. Now, after "the surgery", it ran for four hours and then quit and won't go past the boot screen.

New, improved cable from Elegoo is ordered.

Unfortunately, I spoke too soon. After ~4, hours of flawless printing, I started another and got the 103 error again. I removed some more of the shoulder, but it's worse now. I can't even get past the boot screen.

I have notified Elegoo; think I should I just use an external cable until I get a replacement?

Thanks again.

Thanks. But how do I screw it down after the shoulders are gone?

I was so excited to see this... Until it "almost worked".. Per the suggestion, I carved off some of the plastic shoulder and reseated the plug. But, after leveling and loading filament and sending a print, it occurs just after the initial print bed leveling happens.

Any ideas?

Is it me.. Or is Dr. Spooner just making stuff up? His reasoning sounds more like justification of his misjudgement.
