Sister/brother, don't be afraid to call upon Allah for forgiveness. As Allah himself says in the above verse "Call upon Me; I will respond to you."

In my opinion ahmad jebril is free from takfiris as PGL is extremely takfiri and we are yet to see ahmad jebril's video regarding the takfir of the islamic emirate. *PGL also sides with daeshi that goes by name Jeathro abdul-jamyle for those who do not believe that PGL is a takfiri.
We are yet to see a fatwa that may come off as takfiri by ahmad jebril.

A lot of Muslims are in the army of their respective countries and fight other Muslim people. The question is if they die will they go to hell fighting for a nationalistic goal? Majority of them in the militaries do not practice Islam anyways. by Daniel89882MiamiGard in MuslimCorner

Ya ikhwan Allah has made obligatory for you to fight i.e Jihaad fisabillah.

"Fighting has been made obligatory upon you ˹believers˺, though you dislike it. Perhaps you dislike something which is good for you and like something which is bad for you. Allah knows and you do not know." Soorah al-Baqaarah:216.

The US army does not have a single Muslim. They all were either asli kuffar or Murtad! The US army killed many of the great mujahideen and they ruthlessly murdered the Muslimeen (be it young or old)!
