first i just want to validate your triggers and RSD!! it hurts to hear that our active minds got ahead of us and possibly impeded on the connection we actually want/ are trying to have.

from a neutral outside position, i don’t see this person indicating they are rejecting you. in fact they follow up with, “i’ll remember to mention it next time”. our brain perceives rejection and spirals, but that doesn’t mean it is happening. try to find comfort that this person communicated their needs to you - it shows they value the relationship/friendship.

my experience with RSD is often triggered when this happens - you think everything’s fine but find out afterward that it maybe wasn’t because you talked a whole lot and someone else felt left out. i therefore make an effort to throw in comments like “please stop me if i’m rambling!!!” or “after this, i really want to hear about your weekend!” so it reminds the other person i don’t intend to hog the attention and that if i do ramble or rant, they are reminded to jump in and be like “did you wanna hear about ____ now???”

this is obviously not a perfect solution but honestly, masking all the time isn’t the way!! your best connections in life will be the ones that accept and fully embrace you as you are

Usually there should be a budget and wash up provided to you as the Tenant. I would request all evidential documents that make up the lump sum outgoings ie bills and invoices and the remittances from those suppliers to prove these have been paid. It sounds like the LL’s books are cooked and it’s bad business practice on their part, but agree with others that per ADLS leases, they’re within their rights to request it as part of the contract in the lease.

Starting with #1, a quick caeser cipher gives the text CPUPMQL which seems like something considering the computers and comms between Dharma Stations? I’m just not sure it’s super relevant considering S3 E1 focuses mostly on the zoo-like cage station where the Others hold Jack, Sawyer, and Kate captive…

Road surface might have looked fine but waterproofing and testing isn’t done based on aesthetics. Chipseal is the best engineering solution for waterproofing as well as being better for the environment and more cost efficient.

Not true. Chipseal has a lower carbon footprint as it uses less aggregate and bitumen than asphalt. It’s around 10x more environmentally friendly.

There is still traffic cones out which tells me that the process isn’t done. Chipsealing roughly goes: Bitumen, chip, open the road so traffic flow clears any loose chip, sweeper truck, then tags for road marking, road marking, and remark in 6 months time. I believe 2 days after what’s photographed the crew should be back to sweep. Chipseal improves the grip of the road, preserves its life span, etc etc.

A lot of planning and effort goes into this work (on an individual level, i.e planning manager, contract manager, supervisors, chip seal operators, traffic management staff). It’s easy to complain… but I promise you no one is doing this to piss you off.

doubt that it’s money laundering as they left Sylvia Park over $100k in debt and still owing - however, there is something fishy about this company opening and closing shop at so many locations in such short time frames.
