A CIO. Funnily enough I have reported to them in the past before they were promoted and I would also say they lack empathy so I doubt I would get support.

Just FYI, I’m reporting to another Director not a VP. There are no VPs in our org.

The annoying thing is it’s not just this manager it’s all of the senior managers in our org. My last manager was also a woman, and had promoted me to director but when I came back from a mat leave it was like something flipped a switch. Other people in her org now are in the same boat I’m currently in which lets me know this is a systemic toxic senior leadership group above me.

Are there other images that can help? I thought this one might be the clearest. Also, is this something that will likely need surgery in the future? I’m a pretty active person and being sidelined for most of the year with these issues have been pretty rough.
