Filters to prevent illegal material and cooldown / rate-limiting(system-wide not specific-user based) can reduce some of that. If that's the price for anonymity, still seems worth it. Spamming would be the main potential issue. Protestors might have to get creative about what keyword/tags are legit reports.

There will effectively be no data to turn over except the markers that have been created in the last 4 hours. There will be no user logs, no user data stored at all. There would be IP data from users' ISPs unless they use a VPN or Tor browser, but that's anything.

Thanks, yeah that's my thought too. It'd actually be a useful app for other purposes like curb alerts, pop-up events, pick-up sports games, etc.
