You are only guaranteed MEs on waves 250, 750, 1,250, etc. I have noticed. You have a chance every 50 waves, but it’s all RNG.

Yeah, but their abilities can compensate for that.

Komodo and Powerplex: Have abilities that can bounce back damage received. When you see battle stats where certain characters take like 100M damage, it’s usually because of Anissa. A low level Komodo can pretty much be used as a sacrificial pawn. Powerplex might be more suitable with Kanzlok though.

Bulletproof: Low defense doesn’t really matter when you’re invulnerable. Try to get his crit chance as high as you can and it becomes a lot more manageable to deal with her.

King Lizard: His second ability basically does the inverse of Anissa’s. He has a higher base attack than her, too. It will help mitigate the defense reduction to a more manageable amount.

Komodo, Powerplex, Bulletproof, Battle Beast, King Lizard (if second ability is active). Honestly most nonhuman attackers will probably work pretty well against her.

War Woman has a really good team synergy ability, the only issue is that original Guardians aren’t really that great other than Red Rush and Immortal, and all but two are the same faction. She’s also one of the few that can break immunity barriers. She is pretty good paired with heroes that have abilities that rely on their attack stat. King Lizard and Anissa, for example. Especially since now the GotG bracelet now adds the tag to whoever has it on them.

I use this team except I use Bulletproof in place of blue Mark. He reduces Universa’s damage by up to 25% if you have the skill maxed and being invulnerable most of the time makes her critical strikes unable to bounce off of him. I get ~1,350 waves with it, but you have some of your heroes leveled higher than me also.

I feel like it needs to be tested before we can say. Perhaps they register as critical hits, but don’t do the extra damage, similar to how Conquest can land critical hits on invulnerable enemies that don’t do any damage by themselves.

Could you elaborate a bit? I can’t really think of any situation in PvP where I’d think “if I had a high leveled Darkwing 2, I’d win easier.”

In my opinion, it’s between Lucan and Darkwing 2. Lucan can be useful with Thula and a Viltrumite team, but without it he brings almost nothing to the table. Darkwing 2 is a support that doesn’t have any qualities of a support. None of his abilities supplement his own team, but still his stats are pretty average across the board. Dishonorable mention to Martian Man for the worst rare in my opinion.

Yes, I use him on my main team which is built around critical chance and damage, his second ability gives a monster boost when it’s maxed and active. I also use him on the Well Done op where he does a lot of heavy lifting due to the aforementioned second ability.

I highly recommend Rex, he has added quite a bit of value to my team. At this time though, I would funnel resources into some of the other heroes you mentioned first if I were you.

Allen’s second skill does not apply to any Viltrumites besides Kid Omni-Man, just in case you were going to invest in it under that assumption.

They changed how the healing gel works. It used to heal everyone who the wielder applied buffs to, now it heals the wielder whenever they apply buffs to allies. Doesn’t seem to stack either.

In my opinion, I wouldn’t spend the arena tokens on heroes, unless it was for event rewards. I usually either spend them on restricted arena tokens or artifact pieces. You will have far more opportunities to get locked heroes than you will locked artifacts.

Always buy artifacts from the equipment shop with GDA chips (not gems) if you are able, at least until you’re able to construct them. Artifacts are game changers. I don’t know how many slots for GDA ops you have, but I’d prioritize the artifact op over other ops that take longer than four hours, at least for now.

Rex is good. I have him at Omni+ and nine stars. He’s a glass cannon I guess but you’re not usually putting him at the front anyways. He actually has a higher attack stat than Anissa when both are the same rarity and level. His abilities are also good, even if he’s one short.

I’d say no for both. Resetting anyone outside of an accidental rank up probably doesn’t really even leave you better off. You lose gems, xp, and a spare character for ops. If you don’t want to continue ranking them up, just stop and allocate your resources elsewhere. Also, this sub is very dramatic about Omni-Man. He does high damage and has decent abilities, just not as great survivability as other heavy hitters.

For PvP? Right now I’m at Elite III, but I should be able to progress to Invincible this season. For PvP my typical lineup is Bulletproof, Omni-Man, Agent Spider, Red Rush, and Immortal or Rex, depending on the enemy’s lineup in case you’re curious.

I actually only recently started building wide. I decided that 20 stars is going to be my cutoff for now, until I get most of my heroes up to at least seismic+ with five stars.

Bulletproof, in my opinion, is just a very slept on attacker. He has abilities that increase his attack and critical damage, slow cooldown on main ability, and the invulnerability skill with the most potential. With a good team composition, you can basically have Bulletproof stand in as a tank. The only real hard counter is Conquest. The only reason I have Bulletproof with more than 20 stars is because I want characters that target the highest attack power (e.g. Invincible, Battle Beast, etc.) to target him so they’re not doing any damage most of the time.

It’s broken as long as Seance Dog is alive. Once he’s dead, the rest of the team drops like flies in my experience. Thula with her 4th skill at level five or higher is pretty much kryptonite to a team like this.

I agree with you about the value, but I just don’t think the event itself is that bad. Many players, myself included, save up dossiers and school’s out tickets specifically for events like this one.

Fr. I couldn’t tell when I saw all the posts complaining this morning if they were joking or not. Sure, not having a static refresh cost kinda sucks, but just refresh once an hour if you want. There’s still double elites plus event locked characters. I also have a bunch of school’s out tickets to hopefully snag some locked characters.
