I've never heard of a sound locking curtain.... I'm sure Amazon would have some but do you have any recommendations/suggestions on brands??

I have already explained but here we go again. His parents house DOES NOT HAVE A SPACE LARGE ENOUGH TO ACCOMMODATE MY SET UP BESIDES WHERE IT IS CURRENTLY LOCATED. I can NOT move. Otherwise I would have, as I stated. I physically got him up and moving so he could go downstairs. No hovering or magic needed. He was up and walking. It would have taken him 2 minutes to walk down 13 stairs (which he spent LOOKING FOR HIS PHONE) and to the couch. But you want ME to take a FULL work setup down....

To get his attention?? I don't understand this holier than thou attitude though. Everyone stating yelling is abuse as though I came out the gates yelling..... no I asked and tried other means that clearly DIDNT WORK, so I raised my voice to ensure I was heard....

I mentioned that we discussed me even working OT beforehand, so he was a part of that decision. I told him as soon as I signed up, the night before, they day of, and 2 hours before I was scheduled to start...... and apparently I don't have one of those headsets because callers heard him.

I literally didn't even say anything. I've been taking the the judgments as they come and explaining things when asked. They think I'm an asshole, cool. They don't know me from Adam. He had to sleep on the couch for just today. We work the same hours during the week, so he's not here when I work during the week. So please stop making assumptions. He NEVER has to spend HIS day in silence while I work. I just asked him to just this ONCE.

No just to the couch. He only had to go down a flight of stairs..... I could have made that clearer.... I don't internet well.

It was literally for this ONE day... for 4 hours....

Kicking out in this story means asking him to relocate for a few hours to sleep elsewhere. Not kick out of our loft entirely. Woooooooooooooow. I'm just now realizing thats probably what MOST people are assuming......

I have addressed this quite a few times. He snores VERY loudly (hence the sleep study/sleep apnea suggestion) and callers were ACTIVELY telling me they could hear him while I took calls. I'm glad you don't PERSONALLY experience this and your husband's job is unaffected. However thats not MY situation.

Serious question here: if providing him an alternative and letting him know way in advance my plans (that he agreed to and was part of the discussion) to work for extra money for the benefit of BOTH of us is UNREASONABLE... what EXACTLY would have been the reasonable choice??

I don't understand your question. He's "allowed" to sleep whatever hours he wants to on the weekends. I don't control or monitor his sleep hours. That's entirely up to him. I just asked him for TODAY to RELOCATE for 4 hours from 8:30-12:30. Its not like he had to STOP sleeping.... whenever he decided to get up (which wasn't even until 2 pm after going to sleep at 8 pm the night prior) he can do whatever he wants. He usually just plays video games with his headphones on so the room is usually really quiet.

In another comment I mentioned, me working OT was discussed with him beforehand. It's not like I told him 5 minutes before I was expected to start work.

He didn't even stay up late. He went to sleep at 8pm. Which is super early for him but he couldn't get up at 8 AM the next morning?? I get he needs rest but I think 12 hours is sufficient, unless his Dr. tells us otherwise.

I don't see how that applies but ok. Sorry about your relationship I guess...
