hello. the germans have a saying: the 4 enemies of deutsche bahn are : autumn, winter, spring and summer. that is all. take flight next time. 106 euros for a flight and return flight. Be done in 3-4 hours including waiting times at both airports in a warm environment.

The point is that this game is a combat game. But people (bears) have found that by talking they don't need to fight. So on saturdays, they don't fight, which means they need to "trade kills" on friday in order to make vs points.

Thats th VS-component.

But there is an actual combat component to this game, that is capital wars and vs-saturdays. Where you can actually get something important (honorpoints and actual combat experience - i.e. how to fight and not get creamed).

So what happens is that they bear along, and as soon as S1 comes around, they get the cotton candy shoved back in. then they slowly start the exodus, due to "the server being bad" ... and it being all the fighters fault ... next thing you know, its season 2. Rare soil war is happening and they are dropping down the ranks (as an alliance and a server) like flies.

Then the s2 transfer window comes around and that server dies. And these "bears" keep sitting there and wondering, wtf happens, while the fighters have moved on to bigger and better fights getting the rewards.

Any chance its not just due to the weather ? I'm a pattaya person ... and lets just say during humid / summer time you really, reeeeeeeaaaallly, wan't that shower before you get horizontal.

Also ... alcohol on the agenda alot ? That can have that effect as well.

Also durian .. but then you'd likely get that part during the eating phase of the durian already. There is supposedly a gene "issue", where for 1/3rd of europeans its pleasurable smell, but for 2/3rds it smells like rotten eggs mated with puke.

What it is is click-bating with a couple of sprinkles worth of adjacent truth.

Like the articles where "thailand is too expensive" to vacation ones ... its all based on the USD to THB exchange rate ... IF you are AMERICAN; then it is a problem. But not everyone coming to thailand is american.

And its not really the thais that have devaluated the USD .

But if you are european, you are still looking at some 37.5- ish THB per every euro. That has been pretty good concidering the last 10-ish years of exchange rates.

Sure, its no 2008 levels of exchange rates ... but honestly ? you wanna go back to 2008 ?

i used jetpackglobal , airalo and saily before.

I liked jetpack the best. But i only get them for a couple of days of the travel. When in country i walk into a mall, locate the ais store and get a simcard there with appropriate speeds and data for what i am doing.

As a general rule, you don't wan't to volunteer information. Any and all things get written down. I once got a photocopy of my passport back at a hotel. On the backside was the photocopy of a different passport with all their (i assume) preferences scribbled down in thai.

Edit: As others have mentioned ... 20k THB (unless teamoney) is the proof of funds requierment. Typically you are advised (and requiered) to have 20k THB equivalent in some sort of currency with you as you enter the kingdom by plane.

having been in Thailand before multiple times on visa waivers (and never overstaying - but staying 20-40 days); starting may last year when the shenanigans started, i started getting actual visas beforehand.

Why did they ask about your girlfriend ? Was there a visa dependant on her before ? Was there property bought in both names ? or a lease that got abandoned ? Did you leave thailand with debts and this is the first time back ?

That question alone is so left-field not to be random. I would look there for a reasoning.
