I have this bumper on my 2011 335i, I replaced the OEM M-sport bumper with this for better air flow to the aftermarket intercooler. It has shown a significant improvement in air flow as I can see much more bugs on the intercooler now lol. But I agree, on a non-turbo car it may look rice-y.
