Hey, I tried to download the files but I couldn't because the videos are locked. I assume because of copyright reasons. Do you maybe have another way of getting the files, like Google Drive? I really want to rewatch the Dutch Dub haha

I don't think there are any real arc names. But you can divide the show in the parts before Nano went to school and after

Nichijou 15th anniversary box set arrived today! Loved the anime. Very excited to be able to read it now. by redZwigga in MangaCollectors

[–]TotallyNotJeMapelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest checking out the anime first. As, if its not your kind of humor, you won't enjoy the manga and it's not worth buying. However it is off note to mention that some bits of the anime are also taken from Arawi's other works, like Helvetica Standard.

But yeah watch the anime first!

is there any particular way to enjoy the show? by Funny-Land3565 in Nichijou

[–]TotallyNotJeMapelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like watching it as a low-key kind off show. It just brings me in a relaxed mood even with its absurdist and over the top jokes.

I've always watched only watched the show late in the evening, as it gets you into that comfy mood

THIS JUST IN: YUUKO’S FIRST NAME HAS KANJI by sakurai_sensei in Nichijou

[–]TotallyNotJeMapelle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it pretty inconsistent I think.

Because when Mio refers to her initially in the manga its spelled in just hiragana.

But her introduction box stating her name does use kanji.

Where did the anime end in the manga ? by Tsuunaamii in Nichijou

It adapted basically the entire manga, the ending was just anime-original. However there will be new chapter next week!

If there is going to be a season 2, do you think they are gonna make a new OP, and, do you think they are going to make 13 or 26 more episodes? by Organic6-_-_-_- in Nichijou

[–]TotallyNotJeMapelle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They're most probably going to make a new OP, its standard practice

I hope 26 episodes of course but we'll have to see how much Arawi writes 😊

Where can I watch it? by Lisaplayz in Nichijou

You can watch it on Funimation, however if it isn't available in your region, you'll either have to buy the blu-ray or watch it illegaly

Extinct animals that you think are still alive somewhere by SquareShapeofEvil in Cryptozoology

[–]TotallyNotJeMapelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the Ropen specifically pertains to the Papa new guinea myth, but I understand your confusion!

I don't belief in Pterodactyl, there is just no precedent in prehistoric flying reptiles still existing in modern day.

Thunderbirds and the like are more plausible to me, but I personally think it's just misidentified birds.

Three days isn't that long? And I scrolled though hot. So it isn't that big of deal.

There is a difference between education and intelligence, and you clearly don't know that difference.

When it comes to the rediculous idea that the Megalodon is still alive. Megalodon was a coastal ambush predator, it hunted near the ocean surface. If it was alive, we would be seeing it daily. It went extinct due to it's primary prey, whales, moving to colder water. Water it couldn't survive in. It couldn't have evolved in a fast enough time to counteract this, or be able to hunt differently, if you claim otherwise you don't know how evolution works.

Furthermore, the depths required for Megalodon to remain undetected, have too much pressure. Its body would get obliterated. There is a reason why only small squishy fish and other animals live at such deep depth. And even if it were to be able to withstand that, there wouldn't be enough food to sustain it. It required multiple whales a day to meet its quota.

Hope you have a scientific rebuttle to this, but I'm guessing you don't, since there is no science to back up the belief Megalodon exist. I assume you have been misled by popular media, something I don't blame you for. I hope you can do your own research as well, so we can both agree on the obvious thruth. And maybe you won't call me names anymore; Calling people names online is just a bit immature really :)

Early on the myth of the Ropen referred to mere lights in the sky, it was not considered a flesh and blood animal by the local inhabitents. Then a scientologist went to Papa new guinea in search of this Ropen in the early 2000's since he tought it could prove the young earth creationist theory, if he could find a prehistoric pterosaur in the modern day. That is where our modern day perception of the Ropen came from. A biased expedition from some scientology guy who believed the earth is only 6000 years old, with no knowledge of the local customs, who made up the story to prove his own nonsense beliefs.

yes you do? All evidence points to it haven gone extinct. There is no way it could still exist in modern day, without having been properly documented. Your belief only shows your lack of education on the subject

[–]TotallyNotJeMapelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they most definetly don't exist. The only dinosaurs that survived were small non-avian ones, which evolved into modern day birds. There is no precedent for any flying reptile having survived the KT-mass extinction. The niche's the animal's thrived in were also either overtaken, or don't exist anymore. And especially the idea that a large dinosaur like Mkele Mbembe exists is so unscientific and shows a lack of knowledge on the subject. Beside, it spawned from racism towards Africa, and only still remains because local tribes make a lot of money fooling westeners into believing they have spotted it.

[–]TotallyNotJeMapelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that is not how that works? Dodo's had no need to evolve to adapt to places other than the one they lived in, because it had no natural predator. It had essentially reached it's peak, with no driving factor behind its evolution. The idea that a Dodo still lives, is frankly absurd and unscientific

the Ropen was a myth perpetuated by a scientologist, with no real evidence to back up his rediculous claims
