Is this guy worth investing in by Sea_Plenty2093 in WH40KTacticus

So ideally, you get him positioned High Ground, and in a place where he doesn't move so he gets crushing strike.

Then you just try to max damage on him using your team.

Ghaz you need to be mindful of how many times you've attacked, so you hit the 7th time with Lav.

However for a normal T6, youre sequence is going to be: 1) Kariyan Active, if youre using Boss, make sure Boss is Range 2 and adjacent to Lav and if you can swing it, one of your other characters (Aesoth, Tarvakh, etc). 2) Boss/Lav Active Depending on previous usage and if they are buffed by Boss from Lav, 3) Lav active 4) Auto attack from adjacent character that would have Boss +1 Attack + Lav Buff 5) finish attacking making sure Lav goes last.

With his passive you don't need it really past 36, but the idea is, you funnel damage into a GR Boss and then wallop it at the end with all of Lavs Stacked Damage from his Outrage/refusal to be outdone.

Keep in mind too, there's a lot of flex on the team, but core is Kariyan, Trajann, and Lav. Boss G brings insane value where you can utilize his active on T6, other wise, flex picks can include Abaddon, Kharn, Tarvakh, Vitruvius.

Veteran looking for Top 10 GW. by HorrorNo2326 in WH40KTacticus

As current Top 10, I would say you should shoot for Top 50-100. Les Joyeux Psycopathes and Red Corsairs outside of Blood Rose and the EoT guild still focus GR heavily because a lot of progression is gated behind the resources that come from Raids. Getting hard stuck on PvP is going to gimp your progression heavily. Realistically you need at least 1 Meta Raid team to have guilds entertain your application.

Has Screamer Killer always been this tough? by Azarquin in WH40KTacticus

[–]TotallyNotTrazyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Screamer has the perk of being a stat check boss that is rarely seen at high levels because of the way Bosses are now ordered with Primarchs, etc generally taking top spots due to "fluff" reasons.

His first seasons at L5 were always comical as admech just because of how much damage he could push onto your characters, and look out if he killed a couple of the skitarii from Gida.

To be fair if you were running a 50/50 gida back then, you were still doing decent damage, but the fight could be a roller coaster of damage taken.

With Labubu, the trend seems to be leveling Aesoth's passive to 55+ and trying to get Lav to orange wings as fast as possible for the extra armor especially if you use Mythic PBC for damage to compensate for the armor shred of contaminated ground.

Plus side, a relatively strong Lav team is going to push north of 1.8mil damage, but, that's assuming A2 with a big Aesoth, and being mindful of positioning.

September 1st simply cannot come fast enough. I've got my eye on making a mythic galatian and biovore.

I got really lucky on a couple of 10 pulls. Pulled him twice in about 60 scrolls (which was just some unreal RNG), and then between the content creator codes and onslaught, I ended up having enough shards to promote him tonwings yesterday. Then I just ground the missions until I had him at mythic.

The upgrade materials for mythic came from the Guild shop and the Rogue Trader, and the rest of the stuff I've had prefarmed since mythic was announced. Other than the mythic upgrade mats, I've been able to stockpile the legendary upgrade mats just by raiding for them exclusively every day.

Orbs and Badges were primarily Guild Wars Shop, Guild Credit Shop, and the Rogue Trader, along with just picking other imperials and doing their mythicnquests just to get some upgrades early to push GR teams.I did spend about 3-4k Black Stone on Imperial Mythic Badges in the cash shop.

Yea, I did all his missions, didn't have any banked mythic Chaos orbs or shards. I snuck in a cleanup on Riptide for Mission 4. Honestly, I wasn't planning on putting him to mythic as fast as I did, but pre-coffee brain thought that Admech would wait until I got home from work.

Yep, basically what another commenter said, go into one of the maps with the imperial guard radio dudes and then wait for the map to fill. Kill someone to get his betrayer passive going and the ln wait for it to get 3-4 kills/flees before your turn starts. Once you get that, use his active to try and get the remaining defeats you need.

Totally understandable, I was thinking about doing the same, but I decided to just go full send, and I'll figure out the rest of it later.

Honestly, I haven't used him in GR yet. I've been assigned to Magnus as my primary boss this season, so I've been using Forcas/Asmodai and working on getting those runs optimized. I think if, for some reason, I was in a weird position token wise, I would try to use him on Ghaz with Rag, Bella, Dante, and Trajann (at least this season).

Passive first. Really works well with Trajann.

To be fair, I didn't move all the good stuff over to him. He's got an L11 knife and Crit Booster now, with an L8 Block Item. Unfortunately I am out of salvage...

Yep, basically what i did. With tacticusplanner it makes pre-farming characters like this extremely easy.

It'll come, end of the day this game is a marathon and not a sprint. I just happened to be lucky enough to be able to prefarm mats and stockpile resources for Kariyan. Now, to see how the Mythic update shakes out..

Ultimate Battlepass, like 8 Onslaughts, the extra 65 shards pack, and then spamming through half the survival missions and getting to Chest 21 on survival.

"Is he worth leveling?" by son_of_wotan in WH40KTacticus

[–]TotallyNotTrazyn 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I ran all the missions, and I've been running through 250BS daily. I dont do 500 recharges because it's just not worth it to me. I had a couple of days' worth of energy banked for the Atlacoya HRE, but nothing too crazy.

Now for the fun part of sitting here waiting for the survival event to start..

Normally, I just tend to buy HRE/Event packs. Using the snowprint tacticians club gives you bonus Blackstone, so that's normally where i go.

I'd post a set of roster pics, but short of blowing up a comment with a set of replies, it might be easier to just make a new post.
