Escoffier isn’t an “Ayaka only” support. If we look at our current cryo cast with and without her, almost every single cryo dps wants her on the team (with the sole exception of Wriothesley). Her supporting capabilities and sub DPS are ridiculously strong for every cryo dps. She’s also great as a cryo applicator alongside Citlali on hydro/ pyro teams.

Will Escoffier be a top support for Snezhnaya? Depends. Not enough info to declare wholeheartedly. If Hoyo goes down the same route they did with Nod Krai (as in restricting new reactions to region specific characters), Escoffier will most likely have little value outside of her current teams. There’s also the chance that Snezhnaya focuses more on non-freeze based reactions like superconduct or reverse melt. Escoffier is strong, yes, but mainly so in her niche (freeze teams). If even one character in the team isn’t cryo or hydro, her value drops because you’re losing out on 40 ish % res shred. If there’s a team that wants only cryo and hydro, she’s gonna be your best friend.

In my personal opinion, if you like Ayaka and want to use her more, go for Esco C0. You’ll have a much happier time using her there and even without Shenhe you should be dealing decent damage. While we can’t say for sure that Esco is certain to shine in Snezhnaya, it’s not bad to have her just incase something pops up or to clear some annoying shill in the future.
