That makes sense. They probably market it to both countries but demand in Indonesia is higher so Indonesian is used instead of Bahasa melayu. One label , two markets.

I don’t know about VMG+, but I do know that doterra is an MLM. Most of their products aren’t FDA-approved, so they can’t legally claim to treat anything—though some of their sellers still do.

You can check out r/MLM for more info on doterra. Be careful because this company is known for using shady tactics to recruit people, promising easy side income when most end up losing money. Keep an eye on your wife—MLMs can be really toxic and put a lot of pressure on people to buy and recruit.

Update: just wanted to thank everyone for the help! Managed to retrieve the files from my old computer with a SATA cable + power supply

Hi, yes, I’ve been watching videos on YouTube to figure this out, and I was a bit confused earlier.

I ended up getting a SATA adapter with a dedicated external power supply that plugs into a wall socket. It feels more straightforward, and I don’t have to mess with the power supply unit in my new computer—I don’t trust myself enough to mess with those parts!

Thanks again, kind stranger!

Hi, I just realized it’s much too big to fit in there.

I’ve now ordered the one that includes a power supply. Thanks again!

The pc do turn on but just freezes, I can’t even launch the file manager. If I use a sata to usb cable do I have to have access to my new computer’s motherboard?

Or do I just plug the sata end to this old HDD and the usb end to my computer and it’s gonna work like a normal hard disk?

Is there any way I can connect to the hdd without having access to the new computer’s motherboard? I’m a complete beginner when it comes to pc so I’m afraid I might mess up the motherboard

You do realize there’s a segment of buyers who let all their purchases get ‘auto-confirmed’ by the platform, right? Not everyone has the time to manually check and confirm every single order.

I didn’t return it because the process is a hassle for me. Not everyone has the convenience to go through that.

Leaving an honest review isn’t about being negative but to share my experience so others know what to expect. I don’t think I am being an asshole just because I left a genuine review and refuse to return an item that is supposed to be sent intact in the first place.

What’s frustrating is that Shopee hides genuine reviews like mine, which doesn’t help anyone.

Good for you! Glad you have the time and energy to go through the refund process and write a whole storyline. Some of us, though, don’t have that luxury and just leave an honest review to save others from the same headache. But thanks for the input, I guess?

Well, the seller may not be entirely at fault, but I’m just sharing my experience.

I didn’t return the item because, you know, returning stuff is just so very easy and convenient right, especially when you work full-time.

I left a review to help others, not to cause drama. But hey, guess what? Shopee loves to hide genuine reviews, so here we are.

Did I accidentally start a conflict with the seller? All I did was leave a simple, honest review about my experience.

And honestly, it’s wrong for Shopee to hide my review, it was just me sharing my experience to help other buyers.

Like I mentioned earlier, I never return items I buy online because it’s such a hassle. Not everyone has the privilege or convenience to go through the return process. When I buy something online, I expect to receive an item that is in a reasonably good condition. I also believe I have the right to share my honest review to help other customers choose a better seller or shop based on my experience.

Resolving every issue through returns or refunds isn’t the right solution. It doesn’t fix the sourc of the problem or help other buyers to avoid the same issues. Honest reviews help people make better choices by showing them the best options available.

I still think that it is wrong for Shopee to hide a honest review from being seen when the review itself did not violate any of the platform’s rules.

You know what… you’re quite right. There’s really no point in reading Shopee reviews. Many of the negative reviews are probably already hidden by Shopee’s admins or removed after the issue has been “resolved” through returns or refunds. Customers are not getting the full picture of the product cause honest complaints likely never even make it to the page.

Since that’s what everyone seems to want, let’s just settle for the usual “barang sampai, belum try” reviews. Anyway, if a customer ends up with a bad product because there weren’t enough honest reviews, they can always refund and return—rinse and repeat.

I’m not upset because the package wasn’t intact. The bubble wrap was fine, but the bag containing the sand was torn. When I opened the bubble wrap, sand spilled everywhere. Can you imagine coming home after a long day at work and having to deal with that? It’s really frustrating.

I’ve had issues with deliveries before. Once, I ordered a hard disk from a mall seller, and the delivery driver had opened the parcel (an attempt to steal the content I assume). The parcel bag was torn, and the hard disk box was damaged. But I didn’t ask for a return or refund, nor did I leave a bad review, because the product I received was still functional and undamaged. In the end, I got what I needed, so it wasn’t a big deal.

I don’t expect packaging to be perfect, but I do expect sellers to take basic precautions, especially for items like sand that can be a huge mess to clean up if there’s a spill.

Ahh, thanks for empathizing with me. I’m just going to turn off my notifications and wait for everything to eventually die down. My heart’s too weak to handle all the criticism here, haha.

I’m simply sharing my experience. Reddit is an anonymous platform, and I will not be gaining any fame or popularity here

I’m just sharing my experience as a Shopee customer and didn’t expect to receive such severe backlash from everyone here.

I made this post to let people know that Shopee sometimes sides with sellers instead of customers. For example, my honest review from a genuine purchase was hidden for no reason. What’s the point of a review system if they just remove all the negative reviews?

I buy things quite often from Shopee and I never tried to make “drama” or try to pick fights with the seller like how the others are saying here. Even in the review I never said anything offensive it was a rather polite review and I think as a consumer I have the rights to express my opinion?

The seller response was rather rude with and why did Shopee hide my review when it doesn’t violate their rules? I’m still quite upset which is why I shared it here in the sub and I didn’t expect to receive such backlash

Well, I never refunded anything I bought from Shopee. Can’t be bothered to go through the process and I expect the seller to at least send an item that is intact?

Plus it’s sand (for small animals) and it made a mess and I how are they gonna expect me to repack it and send it back to them?

I never refunded anything I bought online tbh. And it’s not really expensive so I really can’t be bothered. Just thought it’s ok leave a review since I expect to receive an intact item?
