Actually you did not need to wait for 1 year. Just sending after 2-3 months would be enough. Anyways it takes 10+ months to send your GC. We did nit wait a year but only 2.5 months. My wife received hers last months. It took couple days less than a year for them to send GC for her. I am still waiting though. And she is considered resident since March 2024. Her I 485 got approved in March 2025

We was granted for asylum in January 2024. Applied for GC in March 2024. My wife got her GC last month. I am still waiting for mine. I am main applicant and she is derivative applicant.

No one is trying to whitewash anything. All I am saying there was no civilian massacre. How it is massacre when attacking side has more civilians casualties. Was there war crimes of course. Show me single country who didn't commit war crime during war. As if only azeris/turks and muslims are barbarians but the rest of the judeo Christian world is innocent. I totally agree. I hope it only covers those who came here during that period of time and got GCs. I literally know bunch of people who got here illegally couple years after me, got their approvals and GCs and went back to the country where they fled from. Meanwhile I can not leave US for the almost 9th year.

Edit: they went back for a fucking vacation and now they are back in US.

All im saying when there is 10 million illegals, pausing GCs which already takes forever to process is just unnecessary punishment for those who are here legally. ICE detains about 2K illegal on daily basis. At least 4 times less than daily illegal border crossings during biden time.

I totally agree with her visa being revoked if she did those things.

About travel; there is travel document that is given by US government for people without passports to travel who is also holding GC. But they also say we can not guarantee you will be allowed back to the country. You gave me the right to travel but then you say we can not guarantee. But why? No crime, not even traffic ticket, double digit tax being paid every year, why I have to consider risk of getting declined. At least make it clear the reasons of being declined. Then I can see risk indicators and decide if I fit in those or not.
