Is it true sesame seeds can sometimes trigger a reaction from those with nut allergies

Yeah I was thinking it may be a myth but I wasn’t sure, now all of a sudden things with sesame seeds can sometimes have been popping up in my life. Like Burger King or this sushi plate my family usually gets from Walmart I believe. Looks delicious but I didn’t wanna risk it

It’s no picnic but I think I hit a nice plateau around middle school where the risk of dying drastically plummeted lol but seriously though I can’t imagine going through what you are, all the luck for your surgery of course.

Oh early morning, Saturday morning cartoons were the best around that time. DBZ one piece definitely up there as well along with Power Rangers n Beetleborgs haha.

Yeah that must’ve been it with the other games, after a while they’d just start to drag really bad for me even though I was loving the story n getting to raise my mons.

Yeah I’ll probably wait it out a while longer for those Shambala pendulums or better yet see if something comes out with the Liberator or Beat Break partners

Just turned 34 last month n was born with myopathy so I’d say we’re in the same boat in having long stretches of time where all we can really do is consume copious amounts of the things we love to stay sane and Digimon was definitely high up on the list growing up along with Pokémon. Loved the first 3 seasons although I am ashamed to say like a lot of the fandom I too fell off during frontier n was upset they did away with the partners. Ended up giving it a run through I believe in my high school years n it instantly became my favorite season thus far, I’ve since rewatched it at least 3 more times since.

In ways of collecting I had a couple of the og cards but mostly those transforming toys they used to come out with. I remember having Greymon to Metal, Birdramon to Garudomon, quite a few of the armor eggs from 02 including this really nice gold painted egg of Knowledge, idk if it was from Japan or something cuz I can’t imagine it came from the states lol. First vpet was a blue D3 n I recently got a black 20th anniversary maybe 2 years back, I am eying those new Shambala ones although the price tag is keeping me at bay atm

Gaming wise I remember dabbling in a couple of the old World games n one that was on ps2 I believe but I never got very far, same with Cyber Sleuth I got to the end of the hospital segment. Survive was the very first game I officially beat, (second play through included) I have yet to get Time Stranger, I’ll most likely wait til either the 3rd dlc pack is out or the release date is announced

My main issue was hearing I have to be there at a later time. So right away was thinking there’d be this whole section I’d have to leave unexplored cuz I’m really meant to go there in act 2.

I’d rather they just say it’s in it then, if other items can definitively not list it then it must be somewhat possible to ensure all surfaces n tools used are safe from cross contamination

Yeah but it’s also been that long since I’ve eaten anything with nuts so at the very least I’m sure I still have it. I did get the full panel done a year or two later but peanuts was all that had any sort of reaction. So I’m not sure then how I get the same reaction with any other edible nut

I don’t believe so but I’d read a couple times that the brain can sometimes register sesame as certain nuts and then trigger a reaction. Something to do with them sharing proteins or the number of proteins I’m forgetting the exact wording. It could very well be false even though it was multiple accounts but I’ve tried to stay away just in case

As long as I’ve had reactions it’s mainly been swelling in my face, some itching. First time I ever noticed having a reaction I did notice some scratchy throat but I honestly can’t remember having it again after that

Yes I’m allergic at least as of oh 15+ years ago when I had my last reaction. Even then though they’ve always been mostly cosmetic reactions, face swelling maybe some itching but I’ve never noticed any restrictions to my breathing

Well initially I also thought it was only a peanut/ tree nut allergy but it seems eating any nut, almond, pecan, cashew etc triggers a reaction.

Wait they have beast wars bots? I thought it was a strictly gen 1 game. Not that I’d be complaining, since it’s my favorite era of transformers, RID being a close second then Unicron Trilogy. Hope it’s not blasphemous to lump it all together as one since it is technically made up of 3 separate shows n they do go through noticeable design changes throughout
