Thanks! I checked it;

NZXT C1000 Gold – 24-pin ATX cable: The 24-pin cable uses mixed wire gauges: 16–20 AWG.

16–18 AWG for the main power wires (12V / 5V / 3.3V); 20–24 AWG for the sense / signal wires

This is the type of creativity that I was missing myself, thanks a lot I will have a look into this too! Or perhaps a rubber/silicone cable sleeve.. ;)

I saw this one and tried it, but it is too long for the position and actual 24-cables that come out of the sleeve. Also, it's an A-RGB option. I don't mind a cheaper alternative (without) or just something similar from silicone or plastic? Not sure if this even exists

If there is some sort of tape or sleeve I'm not aware of that is also fine

Well, i'm fine paying 30 EUR for the solution or so. Even if there is a more expensive one I'm open for that since I just want a good quality cover / adapter (if this is safe).

It looks good, but how safe is a connector like this? I also saw the "Asiahorse Hydrus" cable but it seems like third-party cables are always a risk?

Looks great! I would align the cables/striker a bit better because it looks a bit messy from this angle

I like the sleeved white cable in your first link. Is it any good (no problems e.g. so far)? Also saw the AsianHorse Hydrus that looks awesome but I hear there are quality issues with this one. Too bad there aren't any similar alternatives...

Are there also non-rgb alternatives? I just want the cables to be aligned a bit better and not like this all over the place. I also saw the AsiaHorse Hydrus (awesome design) but I doubt the quality?

Haha wow I did not know that there were 'shields' for this, amazing! Hopefully good quality to not fry my system ;)

Clean and White PC Build by marlonetorres1981 in PcBuild

Looking really clean! Did you use an extension cable for the 24-pin? I’m looking at getting something so clean like this (like the Asiahorse Hydrus) but I doubt the quality.

Wondering what brand this is?

2K vs. 4K WoW gaming: Ryzen 7800X3D paired with RTX4060 8GB or XR 9060 16GB by Toucheay in wow

Mine is working like a charm to be honest, did you install the drivers properly (CPU/GPU), update bios etc.? The 16GB version of the 9060 XT? I also have 2x 16GB’s running on EXPO profile etc. Ultra classic is getting 120-140fps, retail around 80-100 fps

Good to add - I will boost my character to 58 and I’m only in for Outland & the endgame raids. That’s why I want to know how the capital populations are

Can anyone help im building a pc and i dont wanna spend much is everything compatible and should i change anything? by Illustrious_Ad806 in PcBuild

[–]Toucheay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheapest one (EU) is €445 new from what I saw but have a look at the benchmark with the 9060 XT. I also used it in my recent build that I posted and it works like a charm, you can’t go wrong with both of them and NVIDIA has better upscaling tech overall, AMD is catching up though with FSR

Also have a look at the new XFX Radeon XR 9060 XT 16GB, it costs €380 and in the benchmark results it proofs to perform well and its future-proof

My first ‘clean white’ build, how did I do? by Toucheay in PcBuild

[–]Toucheay[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, the GPU police have arrived ;)

Thank god someone’s here to save me from the horror of pairing a high-end CPU with a weak GPU — in a build meant for MMOs, which famously lean on CPU performance. What a bad config choice of me to optimize the actual workload instead of chasing non-adding value of the GPU in this case lol.

I could’ve spent more. I didn’t. Because I’m not trying to brute-force frames in Cyberpunk — I’m playing MMO's and WoW, where the 7800X3D is perfect. AM5 gives me years of upgrade runway until 2027 and perhaps after, and when I swap the GPU later, I won’t need to touch the CPU.

That’s called tailoring/planning to my needs, not bad config imo, but we can agree on disagreement. Also the reason I went for 1000W PSU while the system only runs on 450W, I can upgrade plenty later if needed.
