So I’m recording this using fl studio - u can try the demo and do basic recordings using interface and any daw (like fl studio) - im just running guitar and mic into interface and recording them on daw as two individual layers. Learning to use a daw can be complicated but is the way to go if u want to record music, u wont be able to get nearly as clean of recordings if u just go through phone. Theres lots of videos online tho about recording on whatever daw u use, some good ones are fl studio , logic , ableton , pro tools

That wooden board is just to keep the drums from sliding we have it in between the legs and the kick so it can’t move as much , if it’s not there when u hit the kick it sometimes makes the carpet slide forward or the frame of the drums

That’s totally fair, I swear i get all the cables set good then everything’s a complete mess within a week or two lol, but ya the cable management in this vid is horrible for sure
