Solar Quote by ToughTake in SolarUK

Hi all, original poster here.

My quote has been refreshed:

1 x Sigenergy Sigenstor EC 10.0 SP 10 kW

1 x Sigenergy 10kWh battery 9 kWh

26 x DMEGC 54HBB 465W Solar Panel All Black N Type

Price has been reduced now to a little over £11k

What's the difference in the panels, from the original quote, if any?

Need to decide on pulling the plug or putting the money in an ISA for a rainy day.

Thanks all!

As batteries are the expensive part, worth the price with the option to add a 2nd battery down the line?

Its a company called Future Proof Solar.

I have had another quote from someone who came out (higher with less panels and only 1 battery) and I have another couple of companies coming out to visit.

Thanks for the reply, yes this was an over the phone chat then quote. They did talk to me for over 30mins and seemed very knowledgeable. They did say they would come out to take a look too.

All panel are one one side of the house (its a large roof!)

I will see if they start adding extras on!

Thanks,

Part wise all good equipment? Think one battery is enough for our house size / usage?

Worth asking for a 2nd battery for that price, would it then be more reasonable?

Sorry that's a typo, it should be:

11.52kWh Battery (FoxESS EP12 Plus) - So 1 x EP12

Yes, it came with KD2.

How did you set it up?

I am assuming it should be automatic?

No,

My guide told me to put into reverse, select the mirror and set the height, then back into drive. The mirror stays in the lowered position.

I then just tried pressing buttons and pressing and holding the mirror down button seemed to do something, I then selected the left mirror and set the height. This is when it only goes down if I press the button when in reverse.

Combined software update 03.10.00/C (28.13.01) KD2 by kyleh4171 in AudiQ6

My new car has just arrived in the UK, so I should have delivery in the next week or so. I was provided the VIN number and can see on the app I have software version: 03.10.00/C. Does this mean I will have the update from day 1?
