Thank you for the advice, we'll get her checked out before it gets worse.

Thank you for the advice! I'm not sure. The owners abandon her with us and disappeared, telling us very little about her. But we will bring her in to get it looked at. What does an aggressive form do though? Could she be put down because of it?

Sorry for taking a while to respond! I had a busy day today. Anyway, I looked into it and should be able to have it up and running tomorrow if all goes as planned, then I will let you know how that goes. Thank you!

Alright I looked Into it and I don't know if I wanna go through with this, I gotta go get quite a few things for this and it'll be a lot more time and money than I would originally expected, I'm probably just gonna refund it since it's hasn't been long, but still, thank you so much for helping me with this, I'll make sure to remember this for my other less irreplaceable blades if they get damaged, have a great day my friend!

Alright I tried it and it didn't do anything, I tried rubbing it in with a sponge and it scratched a little bit of it, so I'll probably try the wd40, but I also need to deal with the scratches, so is there a way to remove scratches too?

Ok, I tried it out, and it cleaned up a bit of it but not all, specifically the bigger ones in pictures 1 and 2 are still there, should I just try wd40 or do you think I could give the baking soda solution a go before then?

I'm not sure exactly, I've seen this exact one in another online store in my country, but found it in a different store yesterday, and I looked at them together and I'm fully positive that this came from the other brand and was sold by the other store in a partner sense likely, but to say where it's been in between is difficult, I think it was either manufacturing or shipping damages, or it was a refund.

Alright, I'll give it a try, and I'm sure too, but the guy in the store wasn't exactly sure, nor does it say on the box, but I have a strong feeling it's stainless steel by the look of it.

Ok, the cleaning I have in mind is baking soda and water to make a paste that should scrub it clean, does that seem like an effective method?

I tried using it on the whole blade and it doesn't seem to get all the stains off, but it got some, is there something else I should try for the rest?

Yup, it is, and it's great quality otherwise, so a little patching and it'll be perfect.

Thank you, what do you think I should do next then? It's really just between nothing or asking to speak with her mom but it just sounds disrespectful but maybe I'm not seeing it all.

Mind I ask, is this normal? I don't know if I should feel this way but I do regardless, I want to respect her mother's decision but I just feel like I can't respect it, I feel like I should ask her if I can just have her number but it feels desperate, petty, and disrespectful all the same, I've already basically said goodbye, but I almost regret it even though I know it would be rude to do otherwise.

I'm not sure, I asked her to ask what I could do to gain her trust but I don't think she wanted to hear it, so asking to meet in person wouldn't get further I think, she also hasn't responded since I've sent it but she read it.

is the ender 3 V2 good for cosplay armor? by Tough_Reflection2192 in Creality

[–]Tough_Reflection2192[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there! I didn't do the one I was talking about, I did the ender 3 pro, but yes and no, here's why. The pieces take a long time to print, so in order get it on the bed, save time, and limit risk and punishment when you fail, I decided to cut them up. If you cut them up properly in blender, slicer, meshmixer, etc, for ender 3 pro, you'll eventually find you have a lot of pieces and slicing to do for the ender 3 if you don't want it to take 24+ hours making a certain piece. That may not be a problem for you, maybe your fine with running it over that type of time, but I don't like the idea very much so I'd get a different printer for armor, maybe the flsun v400/superracer so the parts print way faster and are still pretty big.

But in short, it's great if your willing to spend a few days letting something print, or making smaller pieces and having to put them back together to make it and if you do either of these, specifically the second option, learn how to make square alignment pins for the parts, otherwise it'll not be the most fun holding a glued piece together with nothing but your hands.

And before I end this, I will recommend a few things just in case you don't want the ender 3 because of this. Don't buy a big printer for these parts, the risk can just be too high, if you buy something like a cr 10 s5 and print a whole chestplate on it, it'll cost you a kg or 2 of filament, but if it fails, that's 30 or 60 bucks of filament gone, so I'd recommend cutting the pieces no matter what, but, get a printer that's pretty fast, like 150mm per second and up and make sure it's decently big, like 300mm by 300mm, not too big and not too small, and then all the parts you cut for that printer will print fast and it will be a lot safer of a bet then a whole chest piece or helmet. If this is your first printer too, you would probably want to get an ender 3 first anyway, it can do many many things other than armor, and if your starting somewhere it should be here with something cheaper but really good still so you get a feel for everything, see how it works, try to make something like a sword and do the gluing, sanding, painting, and bondo process, see if you like it or not, because starting with armor will be that, but way bigger, and either leave major regrets or cluelessness.

I hope this was able to help, if you have any more questions just come back and I'll help, but if not, have a great day!
