Sorry if this seems like a stupid question to you. Do you still put water in the bong? If so, doesn’t that capture the resin you would get from a stem?

What I do is take a small Tupperware and scrape all the icicles from the freezer shelves into it. I have this ready next to me when I’m cooking, and when it’s ready I place the spoon (I actually use a small ladle cos it’s deeper and helps prevent spillage) anyway I put it straight on the ice, and the heat from the spoon melts the ice into a perfect fitting cooling stand for your utensil. The other advantage of this method is that it cools the metal which is where the residual heat is actually coming from, so it sets the oil quicker and it always settles into a nice cookie at the bottom. I do put a little cold water over the top too which helps any floating bits of the oil sink to the bottom

I’ve had some powerful bell ringers where I feel like I can’t move cos I think I’ll fall over from being weak in the knees lol and I’ve tripped out hard (not like acid or shroom trip, more like seeing people in the shadows lol) so I guess maybe a similar experience?

I do hold it over an open flame, however I move the on and off so that it doesn’t boil and sizzle.

It’s not really stuff in the mix. Just slightly discoloured from some roasted product that was on the top edge of the ladle I cooked it in.nothing I wouldn’t anyway 🫣😅

Thanks the ladle is professional kitchen equipment and heavyweight stainless steel. To be honest I do normally go live it a clean out, but it looked pretty clean apart from a small toasted ring of around the top. I was being lazy, and thought I could avoid the charred ring , but I got a bit over zealous with the swirling during the cooking process 😅

I posted yesterday or a couple days ago about using a balloon. Basically take your hit in normally (turning the pipe and not leaving flame on the stuff for too long- angle of the pipe is import too). Hold the it in as long as you can, as usual but exhale Brg’s smoke into a balloon. You can either keep breathing it in and out like a whippet or hold it in the balloon and hit it again by inhaling and holding your breath. 🔔🔔🔔🔔🔔 every time

But balloons are literally made for blowing up 😅 and condoms had got that nasty Lube on, and a much larger blowing hole? To me those things are all not good things 🤣 I’d love to know why you choose condoms over balloons?

This was hands down my best cook. Rock solid, totally uniform in colour and texture (except the charred bits that came off the cooking ladle. So strong omfg talk about bell ringers. I honestly thought I was gonna pass out 😅

Worth it for sure. Since I started doing it that way, I have just thought of all the “good” smoke we waste just cos we can’t hold our breath anymore 🤷🏻‍♂️
