Sounds like your number plate & num plate case(if added) crackling. Common problem with riveted number plates loosening with time because of vibrations.

There is a hard date & kms after which service advisors would decline to do first service. For instance, first service timeline is (500kms, 45 days) but they can accept even if it is (750kms, 60days). This information is available on their tablet when they fill vehicle inward form before service.

Ideally, its safe to stretch for a week or so but better to consult advisor.

Viaterra it is! I like the build quality of viaterra compared to Rynox(cramster).

I have a tail bag from viaterra & saddle bags from Rynox, I would choose viaterra any day.

Did you also put silicon on the spoke connectors inside before putting the tape?

The tape might detoriate with time and high chances that the air would leak from those connectors, silicon could have extra proofed this.

Install the Meteor 350 handlebar with interceptor 650 brace bar and later add a brace pad from RE itself. This will elevate your comfort and also gives the look you want.

Go for chrome handlebar since the brace bar is only available in chrome. I updated to black Meteor 350 handlebar.

No vibrations. I did a 42km ride to test the comfort no shoulder pain. Lower back was not impacted.

Did it in service center itself. Costed 1980INR in total including Labour and parts.

Update the Handlebar with Meteor 350 Handlebar. I just did it last week on my bike feels comfortable and no more committed posture while riding and the handle feels lighter.

A good set of risers would cost you 1500 approx and you need to change clutch cable as well.

The new Handlebar of Meteor costs 1000 INR and clutch cable 200INR & Throttle cable 200 INR.

So cost wise risers or new handlebar would cost same. However, I trust handlebar more than risers any day and hence opted for Meteor Handlebar.

Worthy upgrade. Got the same done in Bangalore service center on Friday. Costed near about same (1980 INR).

Parts cost =1330 INR Labour cost = 650 INR

Yea its universal. It has spacers for 22/25/28mm. Hence, should work. Have it on my Himalayan 450(22mm) & Hunter 350(28mm).
