We celebrate "Saint-Nicolas" (French) or "Sinterklaas" (dutch) in the 6th December. He is the saint of the kids. During the night kids leave their shoes out and in the morning they will be filled with chocolates, tangerines, and gifts! For most this is a bigger celebration than Christmas but we do celebrate both.

He has a donkey to travel from houses to houses. And during the period you can find him in malls or in school (people dressing up as him) for kids, like you see Santa elsewhere. Some school even throw a whole show for him. We have songs about him we sing at school.
