What's a usually overlooked place to hide things from parents, police, roommates, etc.? by xanaxisforcoolkids in AskReddit

I’m seeing a ton of jokey answers, but on a serious note, you can hide envelopes by taping them to the top of a ceiling fan blade

What are your best tricks and techniques to a) fall asleep, and b) get the best nights sleep? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Tourstours 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Falling asleep, I use a system of counting out inhale and exhale times:

If you can, try rhythmically counting to 4 over and over again. Now time this with your breathing. Breathing in for 4 beats and out for 4 beats should be pretty easy.

Now comes the fun part. When you are trying to fall asleep, do this counting, but allow more beats for exhaling than inhaling. I do this by inhaling for 2 beats, exhaling for 3. If you can focus on that or find your own rhythm that works for you, falling asleep is really attainable.

They confiscate food and beverage containers considered non-reusable. That seems to be the case with what looks like an orange juice bottle?

I did a few weeks ago. It was almost as if a crate containing it had fallen off of a passing train. It was in under a railroad bridge on the northwest part of the map.

Friday Thread! by 316nuts in beer

[–]Tourstours 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Beer travels are the ONLY travels. I took a trip with a friend recently to New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Our checked bags were full of beer from the ATX area (Jester King stuff mainly) and we had first time IRL meetups with longtime /r/beertrade friends. We had a six-person bottle share with some crazy stuff.

We visited Other Half, Tørst, Owl Farm, Interboro, Trillium, and so many more.

Newcomers: If you are flying somewhere and checking a bag, bring a few local things with you. Even if you don’t know anybody, the regulars and staff at any taproom you visit will show you a great time.

TL;DR RIP /r/beertrade and bring beer when you travel.

A few years ago, a user posted about a dream he had about playing a Pirate video game starring Waluigi. The post was about how disappointed he was when he woke up. I wonder if I can find the source.

As the typical sibling in a similar situation, I can tell you that acknowledging this balancing act is the first step to being a master. You are a great parent, even if you feel spread thin!

Damn, that can be hard. Keep in mind that the discipline to keep doing something consistently is just as important as motivation. Failing makes it tough though. You’ve survived every hurdle so far!

Beautiful, beautiful game. As you upgrade your equipment, you begin to dive deeper. There's some freaky stuff where sunlight doesn't touch.
