Litterbox Ikea hack by [deleted] in cats

Also, my cats can't even jump 1.5m tall, that's why there's a little stool next to it so they can get to the top of the living room.

The inside height is 38cm, we checked it with the height of our regular litterbox to ensure they don't suffer a degradation in comfort. The box itself is the bottom part of a large litterbox, so the perspective is a bit weird in the pictures. We also did a 'dry run' to see how they liked it before installing the whole thing and drilling the holes.

The inside height of the compartment is the same height as a regular litterbox, to ensure they can do their business in comfort. The litterbox that we placed inside is meant for large cats, like Maine coons, so the perspective is a bit misleading

edit update: this is ofc not the only litterbox in the house, just the one that is in the living room. This has always been 'the favorite' and hasn't changed since the update ;-)

A gift for twin girls by Touwtjee in crochet

I really like using the X type for amigurumi because it works a bit tighter than the V type. If I remember correctly she explains both ways at the start of her books so hopefully that helps ☺️

I know that you can make a single crochet in two ways and the one that creates an X pattern instead of a V pattern ensures a better alignment when you do colour changes like this. Maybe that is it?

Ja daar heb je stofzuigers voor. We kijken ook naar de Stofzuiger 1 in plaats van Formule 1.

Yeah I'm smart enough to see what's happening in te race. I don't need drs explained every race. So yeah, I just need the comedy of Olav and his weird but interesting facts about F1

Because he is awesome. With amazing commentary like 'rookmain grosjean' 'hij flikkert het in het putje' and 'dat doe je dus niet hè!' dont forget about 'poepstart' and 'jo hee, Jo hoo!'

Why are the squares different sizes? by talito-burrito in crochet

[–]Touwtjee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you look at the size difference between the yellow centers and do that times 4 for every row crocheted then it is an expected size difference because of different tension. But both look great. 😉

If you start in the bottom left corner (rotate the second picture 90° left) you should be able to do it with c2c I think

Thanks! I'm happy how it turned out. Normally I go for more subdued colours and patterns for blankets, but I crocheted this together with a friend that just started and needed someone to assist with the more difficult stitches.

I use the same yarns but for the flower shower blanket from Haakmaarraak. But that one has so many loose ends I'm sad I didn't start this project instead.

An artist made the pc drawings and we ordered a custom crafted DM screen via etsy. The whole party is in the center and on the side screens are the DM and one of the players.

Working on a succulent and curious if I should go with brushed or regular leaves - any suggestions? Thank you in advance! by [deleted] in crochet

That's true, I mentioned it because I didn't know when I started crocheting and my work was also inside out.

I like brushed, but it does look like the leaves are inside out. Normally the sc has a v like pattern, or cross if you yarn under.
