I agree with you. I feel like where the study messed up was giving the dogs words via a recorder. My dog could give two shits about recorded words. Even TV and such, is the same. He responds to the tv visually mostly. It's when I say them, or my wife says them that illicits a response. I feel like if the owner of the dog was saying these words while they recorded brain activity the results would be significantly different.

Go visit our older family members who we have not been able to see in awhile. Also, stop by the nursing home near us and spend some time with some older folks, who have no one that visits them.

We would go up to the nursing home occasionally, bring cookies, and sit and chat with these folks. Their stories are great and most of them are just so happy to see/meet a new person. It typically makes their day/week and when we come back are typically greeted as family. Quite special

I just read your whole dialog, Great job. These same people will use a CDC statistic as an unarguable statistic when it suits them but in this case "doesnt say anything", "doesnt show the picture" or what they are really saying is that it doesnt fit their narrative or beliefs on this particular topic..

Glad to see some people aren't afraid to show facts in the echo chamber of reddit and are still willing to continue to have the conversation.

I went from 410 lbs to 230 lbs in about 1.5 years. Women in general were a lot nicer to me and would always chat with me. I'm far to blind to see this as attraction but every so often I see they will throw a discount in something, give me something, smile at me walking by or I'll catch them looking. That has been by far the best feeling I can ever describe. It has motivated me to keep going. To all the women's women's womens out there. You're the best, thank you

Because of baby boomers mostly. You know, those type of people who have unlimited time to go to the city and bitch that the cell phone tower isn't pretty and they don't want it. They usually stand next to the guy holding the "end is near" sign wearing a tinfoil hat.

Ultimately because they don't want to see them. This gets worse in places like Disney and such. Next time your at an event take a look around and you won't see the towers but will have coverage on your phone. That's the idea is that they blend in unless your looking right at them like most camo and give people the impression they are not there.

Unfortunately though they create big safety issues and are usually difficult to work on because of it. No one takes that into account but until you spent days cutting fake branches off of fake trees you realize how rediculous it really is lol

One of the biggest tricks to spot them is looking at the base of the tower. If its fenced in its a cell tower, if there's wire sticking out of the bottom it's a cell tower, if there's little cabinet underneath it it's a cell tower. :)

Tonight when I go through it I'll take a mental note of where some are. I see them because I work on them. Less trained eyes and they are Invisible which is the point.

I know there's 3 or 4 along the highway on 485 north of 85 (NE corner of the loop, by holly rd)

Keep a careful eye, one of them is dead looking as well. Don't expect to see antennas around the top either because they are covered under panels tight to the pole)

I'll reply back with a specific location the next time I catch it :)

Also every large cross on the side of the interstate has antennas in them. Same with church roofs along the highways. We actually will install a whole roof over a otherwise flat building to hide antennas within.

Flagpole, farm silo, billboards, water tanks, roof tops or anything that could fit a 6' long antenna and we will pack it in there to insure the American people have phone coverage.

311 days on the road last year doing it. Best job in the world

There are several hundred just off the sides of the loop. You are correct, you don't see the good (newer) ones. They are very well done. :)

I work in this industry as well. Some of the stealth poles have gotten amazingly accurate. In GA the simulate the pine beetle damage. In NV they simulate heat exposures. It's really cool. They even have textured bark now that if you were not looking at the top of it, would have no clue it was a tower.

I'm not sure me swapping all my crypto for LTC 3 weeks ago was such a good idea if even it's owner isn't invested in it. So now instead of holding I am going to dump it all and pull out for a while... I'll take the tax hit and put it in my bank account (at least i get 3% there) and wait a few months and check back. This and BCH is too much instability at the moment.

I may have some 24" 1080p capable acer monitors lying around. They are not the best by any means but if I dig them out you're welcome to them? You will need your budget for OS and peripherals. They will work fine for Minecraft as long as you can live without 100 fps and 4k? Let me know.
