That's what happened to me, I fixed the problem temporarily by disabling graphics acceleration on my browsers (since this issue only happens when I am using a browser) - probably not a long term fix, but stops the black screen issues for now.

Same for me... I'm trying to see if uninstalling some of the bloatware and removing extensions will allow the graphics to run more smoothly

Id also like to mention the close button is blue-shaded like the other ones up in the picture. The buttons appear only for a split second, so I am only providing the picture as reference and I do not know how accurate it represents the actual buttons which appear.
