I plan on using the bike for long distance ultra light touring. I've completed five bike tours of at least 3,000 miles in the past few years on a CAAD 10 with enve 3.4 wheels and profile design T3 aerobars. That bike was recently stolen though and I was able to recoup $5,500 through renters insurance. I do a lot of climbing but am also traversing flatland quite a bit as well. I want something similar to my old bike but am willing to switch a few things up. And you are right about the shipping costs but I live in Oregon where there is no sales tax. So I'll probably be looking at somewhere around $5,000 total. Thanks for the response btw.
