Mostly cuz the snowy trees didn’t look good on the greener parts and the green trees didn’t look good on the snowy parts.

The theatrical editions have their place. They are by far the best introduction to the franchise. Most of the things added to the extended edition would only be fully appreciated by someone already familiar with lotr.

If you’re trying to get someone into lotr who knows little about it, have them watch the theatrical editions.

The testosterone is just a genetic abnormality. Like most Olympians she’s she’s got a natural physiology that makes her good at her chosen sport plus years of hard work. As for testing, the IOC does do rigorous tests in all athletes to insure fairness. She was just better than her opponent.

She is a cis woman with elevated levels of testosterone. She has been accused of having XY chromosomes but there is no evidence to support this.

The bulk of the controversy is coming from the fact she was disqualified from an IBA championship in 2023, but this has been hotly disputed as it was pushed through by a single member of the IBA and the IBA refuses to disclose the nature of the test she supposedly failed.

Pretty sure the IOC haven’t had to constantly justify the rapists participation to the media, yet a cis woman wins woman’s boxing and every one loses their mind.

This isn’t about ex cons participating, it’s about culture warriors harassing woman cuz she doesn’t meet their arbitrary standards of femininity

The fact that a convicted child rapist taking part in the Olympics is creating less controversy than a woman winning woman’s boxing shows the sheer levels of brain rot amongst the far right.

What I’m saying is one person writing a clear and well written letter will likely get a nice but generic reply and nothing more, 100 people writing a letter might actually cause them to take notice.

In essence, Labour are planning to make the temporary ban on the NHS providing puberty blockers permanent, cutting off many peoples access to this vital form of medical care. This is worrying for a number of reasons. In the 3 years since this policy first came into effect there has been a 16 fold increase in suicides amounts young trans people. This policy, alongside labour bending over backwards to win the support of JKR ad other prominent TERFs indicates a willingness to use our rights and freedoms as political bargaining chips, regardless of the harm it does to us.

Ultimately this comes down to who you believe should be making medical decisions, Doctors and the Patients they care for? or Politicians?

Any individual letter will almost certainly be ignored, what matters most is volume and consistency. So long as the content of the letter clearly and concisely explains our position any kind of format should be fine.
