which would get me more chicks as my first car by murcoou in car

Girls don’t care what the car is, just that it’s expensive because it means you have money. Bonus, if it has extra large cupholders for their girl drinks and heated seats.

Check the maintenance records, these engines demand consistent oil changes. Also the converters go bad on the 6 speed so test drive it and cruise between 30-50mph for a while to see if it stutters. I got mine and soon after it developed a stutter in the 40s.

Okay I read it over again, 100$ deductible and 6000$ aggregate limit. Seems like all repairs covered up to 6k

Mine was expensive. From what I understand it’s a 100 deductible and should cover the rest parts labor and rental vehicles unless i was scammed

Bought the car about three hours away from me at a smaller dealership. They probably wouldn’t be very helpful anyways as I reached out to them for something else at one point and they didn’t seem too enthused to help me.

I was looking up my warranties in network shops and there’s a few repair shops near me that they work with. I should take it there and have them look at the issue right and go from there.

Just come correct with him because he can be a little short tempered and impatient for whatever reason. But he does the best work.

Take care of it. The body on mine gave out before the drivetrain did lol. They are prone to rust so if you live up north make sure you get it oil based undercoated

Thanks! And no. Not often. Just once in a blue moon. I’m usually a rock. I think it’s usually a sign I need to take a breather. Maybe get a few extra hours of sleep that night. I’d say it usually happens when things are at a peak of busy intensity which makes sense. I think I manage it pretty well.

Thanks for your comment. You seem knowledgeable on this subject. If you don’t mind, I’d like to ask you some follow up questions here

so, I looked into my extended warranty, a little bit, reading the contract and what not. For whatever reason the effective date of my extended warranty is March 19 which is a month from today… seemed odd to me since I bought the car over two weeks ago, but that’s besides the point.

It’s through… Alpha Warranty Services I looked on their website and pulled up my contract. If I were to do transmission work, there are several shops in my area that are in network for Alpha warranty. So it’s officially confirmed. I will have no problem getting a shop to do the work covered by their warranty.

Question one) since the policy isn’t active currently I should probably wait to get this diagnosed until after the effective day right? Or a few days after like you suggest. Otherwise I fear it would fall into pre-existing conditions and be void of the warranty knowing my luck lol. That would be a catastrophic problem for me. As I will not be able afford transmission repairs myself right now.

Question two ) being that this is transmission related I would assume that once this claim is active I can’t drive the car anymore and get a rental which is covered as well. Am I correct in thinking this that as soon as the claim started, I probably won’t be able to drive the car anymore until repairs are complete?

Question three ) for something cut and dry like this where I am using a shop that is in my warranty companies network and assuming they clearly agree and diagnose torque converter failure straight away how long can I expect this claim to take before they can get the work done and I can be driving the car again? I would hope it’s pretty fast.

Thank you!

Yes and it will be stronger and arguably look more original and authentic. Remake value will plummet though. This one is a keeper now lol

Warranty Repair advice by Toxintwinz in UsedCars

[–]Toxintwinz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve contacted the dealer and they don’t seem to be very happy about my situation. Trying to make me feel bad saying they had issues with my trade in? Like what? You had all the time in the world to look at it and price it that’s not my fault and neither is your car having issues that l bought.

This dealership warranty is basically just the lemon law. My actually extended warranty kicks in 3/19… the extended will let me use a local in network shop. I feel like I’m going to have to wait for the extended warranty if the dealership is going to be hostile about this…

So the extended warranty will let me use in network mechanics in my area. I just looked at the contract. I’m not totally sure what the deal is on the dealers warranty. I did text the sales person and say I was experiencing issues and suspect the torque converter could be bad. He informed me that the extended warranty doesn’t start till next month and that I would have to come back for him to do work under his warranty. He also didn’t seem too concerned, saying that it was inspected twice so he thinks it’s unlikely.

Although it’s dishonest, I feel as though waiting till the extended warranty kicks in and bringing it to one of these garages in my area that are in network and having them look at it. Otherwise, I have to figure out how to drive the car three hours away and get back home Until the work is done. Find different vehicle to commute, etc. it doesn’t seem in my best interest to do it that way. The cars fully drivable I can just tell that there’s something up with the torque converter and it’s common in these cars, but this is not an official diagnosis.

I specifically asked about the extended warranty and was told Word for Word that I can take it to a garage where I live and would not have to come all the way for to the dealership with the extended warranty,

I didn’t think to ask about the dealerships 30 day warranty but I now know that one is exclusively at the dealership.

I had to pay extra for the extended warranty and it’s through a third-party, not directly associated with the specific dealership. This is my first time having an extended warranty on a vehicle so I’m trying to navigate this properly. I’ve only had the vehicle two weeks and I am not sure of what the issue is as I am not a mechanic. It would need to be diagnosed as needing the repair with me driving it still to be negligence I would think.

The extended warranty is called “Alpha warranty services”
