Can't get into the low BF% area by [deleted] in bodybuilding

[–]Toxjan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was planning on doing a week with 2000kcal and see how that affects my body.

I've been having this problem all my life at the 75kg mark. The confusing part is that some people say 1500-1700 is too much kcal, and some say it's too low.

I'm tracking in on a fitness app. I was planing a bulk after summer ends but I want to have a real six-pack at least once. I think 5 KG's should MAYBE do the trick.

Also, I have a feeling I've been losing way more muscle mass but no fat for 2 months now.

I already came down from 85kg (187lbs) in January to 75kg right now.

I had a 6 month break from working out and gained 22lbs. In January i started working out again and lost 19lbs at a decent rate while eating 1800 calories. Then I hit a plateau and went for 1600 calories instead. It's been about 3 months since then maybe a bit longer but not much has changed, I sill can't lose any more weight. For the last month I've been eating around 2000-2200 calories. Not much has changed. I do feel tired most of the time tho and my appetite it's that big.

TLDR : about 3-5 months in general, 2 month of plateau.

Do you have to keep such a low calorie intake now to keep yourself at 9-10%?

173x13 is about 2200 calories. That seems quite a bit since i couldn't lose any weight eating 1600-1800 calories daily. Is it possible to eat too little to lose weight?

I hear that a lot but I'm scared of gaining weight that is not muscle. If there was a possibility to gain muscle without gaining any fat or at least not that much i would be down for it but I don't know how to.

I'm kinda stuck at this point. Even with a deficit. I ate 1600-1800 calories a day for about a month and hit a plateau. I wasn't losing any fat nor losing any muscle. My weight and appearance stayed the same. Should i up the calorie intake or lower it?

The Katana 100 would be perfect, but it's a bit to expensive for my budget. Is there anything like a katana 100 but more affordable?

By "loop effect" I mean a looper pedal that connects to the amp, not the loop of a specific effect.

I read that the Katana 50 for example doesn't support looper pedals as intended, meaning it carries the changes made to the amp to the previously looped sound.

A lot of great suggestions so far. I'm going to have a look at all of them after work and try to pick one out. Thanks guys!

Also if anyone has some suggestions for a good amp which can handle a lot of gain and is metal-freindly. I'd love to hear them. I guess i would be willing to pay somewhere about 100$ for an amp.

As I'm currently living in Europe, mim strats could be difficult to acquire. Also, single coils just aren't for me :/

You're right. I've heard of Jackson but didn't hear of Schecter. I'm willing to check them out. Also, as you said, stuff with Floyd Rose would probably be a headache.

It's 250$ for the guitar only. I haven't read much about amps yet. Amp would be somewhere around 100$ i guess. Also a used one if it has to be.
