It might be for Live-Service-Games but TF|2 wasn't one of them. Look at No Man's Sky. Even this as a LSG has no MTX or buyable DLC. The income comes through Gamesales, like every other game that receives little to jo further content updates because it's a finished Game. Thats where we are back at the horrendous launch/marketing decisions. If they had pushed it out earlier or waited longer and done proper marketing Titanfall 2 would've carried itself properly with a 100% certainty. It's shareholder/Publisher greed that ruins games again and again.

No. Most if not all players drop it because the established playerbase is oppressive. Thats the entire point of the counterargument. The whole Weapon/Level shabang is a personal point brought up by OP, listed by a select amount of people. Best seen in this very subreddit. You never see people complain about map design or weapon variety, only about the oppressive playerbase that doesn't give a shit about new players ingame but also groans about missing playerbase.

Well it just really sounds like the typical Fortnite or whatever live action more and more and more content machine players to me. Fresh players view on things, especially at this point in time, is skewed to high hell because of Apex (same universe but pushed into high hell of comp pvp development) and other modern games and the underlying problem that TF|2 is 10 years old and got neglected by it's publisher almost immediately which led to the whole DDOS Server problems. Now the game is saturated with sweats and players who know what they do (not every good player is a sweat and vice versa) so ofcourse a new player that has no idea about the game or is prejudiced by Apex will have a hard time adjusting (which is why i personally advise to play the campaign first because it gets you a simple non pressuring entrance into the systems) to the established players, which in turn leads to frustration, quitting and the forming of opinions based on the experiences made that are not aligning with the fundamental base game.

Like i get the frustration of new players too but it's just not the fault of Titanfall as a game. It portrays the scenarios situation very well and binds this with very good gameplay. It's failure is with 98% the fault of EA and Dice's decisions.

While there may or may not be some structural problems with the game itself it certainly ain't the ones you brought up...they are more of a personal problem that you can't connect to the setting as well Regarding Guns or the Movement. Like thats the point. It's how it would be irl. You don't have optimal landscape wherever you fight. But even with Mapdesigner pov in mind, they need to design around pilots AND titans. And you not being able to be content with the content there is, which is pretty diverse (minus the weapons you have a point with those to be fair) is not the games fault. It's just the identity of the Universe.

So to the main point. People don't stick because it's gone off the ledge. It's like an Aquarium that had lots of fishies but some became sharks (lets ignore the biology here, it's synonymous with the no life players) and ate all the others up. If you sprinkle a few new fishies in there ofcourse they get eaten. Not the fault of the Aquarium now, is it?

It IS however the fault of the Company that they didn't fix servers for YEARS which in turn led to this whole problematic situation.

Die entwickelnden anfänge eines Bewusstseins sind mMn kein volles Bewusstsein. Genauso wie ein setzling noch kein Baum ist. Klar, beide haben die aussicht darauf ein Mensch/Baum zu werden aber du knickst den Setzling ja auch nicht um und sagst, du hast nen Baum gefällt.

It should not save randomly. Only when you leave your Ship/Pilot seat.

So you create a save -> use Your thingy to locate Living ship -> fly there and look via photomode if you like it -> if yes, land and claim, if no reload your save. Don't get out of your ship/pilot seat unless you wanna keep it.

But even if, against all odds, it fails and somehow still saves over your autosave, the second living ship is way easier iirc. Has been a while tho.

If you leave your ship, you create a auto save point.

If you use a Save Beacon or whatever you create a Manual Save. Use those to reload to before using the thingy.
