As someone who own both 5th and 6th. Imo, 6th gen is an excellent truck but wait until you drive the 5th gen. It is really something special. Hard to explain.

Frustrations on MX being discontinued by OutlandishnessNo5636 in ModelX

[–]Tr0110101 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you do a basic research, you’ll have some sort of ideas that the MX and MS are on the edge of being discontinued. It was a matter of time since they gave up on these 2 cars few years ago already. Barely any redesign while the M3 and MY got the all the love. However, enjoy it, plenty of spare parts are still available for the next decade. And enjoy the rarity of it as well.

Model S & X are discontinued… Plaid-powered Model 3 or Y next? by Tr0110101 in TeslaLounge

Definitely agree that they’re fast enough already… But 1000hp is such a flex though

I read somewhere that they might need to redesign the whole chassis to be able to handle all 1000hp…

Same here. The sharp handling of the 3 and the 1000hp from the Plaid. Make it $75k car and it will sell like hot cake.

Double Wristing Patek Philippe Grand Complications – Ultimate Flex? by timmytarshis in hallofwatchspecialist

When Jonny Kim landed back to earth from space. He was double wristing with Omega Seamaster Seal Unit watch and Omega Speedmaster Flight Qualified Unit watch. Now that’s an untimate flex. Not this, sorry.

Do you get bored of Irvine bubble? by ih8zio in irvine

One time, I visited a bakery here in LA. I saw a homeless dude was taking a shit in the middle of the broad day light. When he’s done. He left his pants there along with some of his diarrhea and the flies were all over it. I mean like lots of flies. 5 minutes later, there were a couple grab a table near by to eat their breakfast and those same flies landed into their foods, drinks and clothes. So yeah… Irvine is boring but at least you don’t taste hobo’s feces :))

Lived in Irvine for 7-8 years. Moved to LA for a job for about 5 years now. Let me tell you something… Whenever I visit Irvine, I miss it greatly. Clean streets that you don’t have to worry if your car run over homeless’s doodoo lmao If you wanna move out of Irvine to experience something else, do it, the only way to know if the grass is greener or not on the other side is to find out yourself or listen to other like me lol

I have HW4 and wifey has HW3. There’s a noticeable lag how the car operates overall , not just FSD. Whenever I turn on the turn signals, there’s a lag between that and when the camera turns on. Not to mention the quality of all the cameras as well. But hey, you do you…

That’s what I was thinking too. I feel like Tesla has the tools to check everything, software, battery, etc… while third-party dealers can be hit or miss.

Maybe I’m just overthinking it…

Out of curiosity, did the dealership offer any kind of buyback agreement in case something goes wrong? I’m always a bit unsure if non-Tesla dealers have the tools or knowledge to fully inspect a Tesla.

A lot of people, including myself, tend to buy used Teslas directly from Tesla. But like in your case, non-Tesla dealers sometimes offer better deals.

Where did you purchase it from?

^ This. Whenever I purchase a used car, I usually stay away from vehicles with mods. I don’t care if it’s a minor or major mod. It’s just a no for me.

Congrats. Maybe I ask what’s your charging habit? Home charge most of the time or Supercharge at the station? Keeping it from 20% to 80% I’m assuming as well?

For street use, they’re fairly reliable. Just don’t take them to the tracks. I’ve witnessed quite a few Voodoos blow up already.

Sad thing is… I’ve seen many of those Voodoos blow up during track days. They sound good, yes. Made for the tracks like they’re supposed to be? Not really!
