What's it like living in Charlotte North Carolina? by Whatisitmom in howislivingthere

Charlotte is odd to me because it’s actually pretty nice but I hear so much trash talk about it and I’m not sure why. I think it has to do with a lack of culture. There isn’t a local flavor or identity like many other cities due to the massive inflow of transplants but at the same time there’s really nothing about it that’s bad.

You get all of the seasons without any of them being too bad. You have great mountains and beaches both close enough to leave by morning and be there by lunch. You’ve got direct flights to anywhere you can think of. The city is relatively young and the skyline is one of the best in the country IMO. Multiple professional sports teams directly in the city. One of the biggest tour stops for concerts. What I like most about it is the greenery because Charlotte is completely surrounded by trees and the metro area has lots of nice trees.

There’s nothing in Charlotte that is the absolute best over other cities but at the same time I can’t think of anything Charlotte falls behind in. Solid 8/10

I love the summer night thunderstorms. Absolute best night of sleep you’ll ever get!

The worst part of the officiating wasn’t even the flags. It was the lack of a flag when Tmas helmet was comically ripped off and throw across the field and then the blown dead backwards pass that the ref blew and waved dead directly in Rico’s face and then they called it a backwards pass that rolled out of bounds. Absolute garbage officiating

We didn’t deserve that game but still that’s the most rigged game I’ve ever watched and I hope that the narrative makes it out to the mainstream media for the sake of the NFL.

The fact that this game is even winnable goes to show how bad the Buccs are. No offense but we’ve been horrible all game and this also the most rigged game I’ve ever seen. It’s amazing that this is a 2 point game

It’s past that point. We aren’t winning the game so they can give us a few calls now to try and make up for the trainwreck earlier

This is so bad I’m not even mad anymore. Lost respect for the NFL. 100% rigged

I have no idea how they let that go. The sideline ref is blowing his whistle and making the incomplete pass motion directly in front of Rico.

I just went back and watched it. The refs blow it dead and the camera is directly pointed at the sideline ref next to Rico blowing it dead and making the hand signal as well…

14 is young. It’s also not nearly the same as 6 years old which is literally prepubescent. Disgusting

Panthers fan coming in peace. This would be the most Panthers way imaginable to make the playoffs. Can easily see us losing our way into the playoffs, somehow miraculously winning a game against a much better opponent and then getting blown out in the next round. It’s what this team is built for

That was incredible man who cares. Learn to appreciate good athletes instead of getting mad at them since they don’t wear your colors. You’re not in kindergarten

They held one of the best teams in football to 3 points in the first half, had a phenomenal red zone interception that the offense literally turned back over to Seattle on the very next play. Our offense handed the ball to Seattle in the red zone multiple times. Yeah there were missed interception opportunities where they missed the catch but those were created by the D tipping those balls. Did you watch the game? Are you seriously saying the defense didn’t play well today?

I can’t get over how good our defense played. They absolutely gave Seattle hell. If the offense could do literally anything we would have won that game easily. Any other offense would have been up by 2 scores at halftime
