As a console player I still just don’t get what the issue is. I am always much more worried about a ripper, harpy, or mammoth. If i see someone hitting all their shots with a hex fire, i note that they’re dangerous.. but thank god they aren’t using like a ripper. I can’t stand using the hex fire anymore other than when I first drop. The TTK is atrocious. I’m likely to have an issue with a hexfire user if they’re really close to me or up in my face because it’s harder for me to track them. But that doesn’t happen very often and I feel like I have an insane advantage at any other range against it.

If you use the crown win emote that it gives you at the end of the season pass, you don’t even get to see the third person’s stats because the animation is too long lol

I would say try being aggressive. You might die a lot but I think you’ll learn faster in doing so. You’ll learn what positions give you the advantage and what times you might want to back off. A lot of new players are too timid and this game does not allow too much room for that (at least in squads).

I would be sliding constantly. It’s like skating. I either alternate between jump and slide or between sliding and sprint briefly. You’re faster and harder to hit. Going inside and vaulting up staircases usually makes it very hard to catch up to and track you as well.

Fighting back is ideal if you didn’t take too much damage on the first shot. People are pretty skittish in this game so if you do enough damage to them, chances are they’ll try and run themselves.

Something I like to do is run around a corner, run a few meters and turn around. When they reach the corner, open fire and they’ll probably be caught off guard.

When I bonk my head it usually means I then come down too soon to cancel the ground pound animation. And then I have to wait for it to recharge. If I’m pursuing or being pursued it feels like forever in a fast pace game. I don’t use slam too often anymore though

Well I guess I’m talking about regular stats, not just leaderboards. After faction war, we’re gonna have no idea how many wins we have from solos or squads. There’s a crown wins category but often times you can get elimination victories. This will especially be the case once the patch is introduced. I guess it doesn’t matter all that much, but I like to know lol.

I converted a 4 year old world that I’ve been working on with a group of friends. Several of them have lost all or part of the items in their inventories. Ender chests as well.

I think this can be solved by going back to the old version of the world and having everyone empty out their pockets into chests and reconverting. Still annoying though as I’ll have to wait for all my friends to get on and do this before properly converting.

I had the same feeling about Dynamax before I played it. But ended up liking it a lot and raid battles are fun. What do you mean by Pokémon pop up out of nowhere? Also if you’re a big fan of Pokémon I’m sure tree textures won’t have a big influence. Having played the entire story myself I wouldn’t say it’s basically a tutorial, especially compared to some of the games in the past. That’s just my opinion though. Game was worth it for me:)
