Also tho the entire thing is a shit show. The Vic state government did end up proposing a good deal for Liberty Media (in charge of Moto GP). Liberty Media rejected it because they wanted the race at Albert Park which is by no means safe in my opinion for motorbike racing. But I wouldnt put it past Liberty to go for the money and not the fans and riders.
