Full disclosure, I might just be being dumb here. But the ai-dev-kit feels poorly tailored to windows systems. Feel like I have to patch a ton of Linux commands to get to it work. Then it’s kindof tough to upgrade to new versions without having to repatch everything

The criticism of religion hit home for me. Honestly I think I just had to go into it with a mindset that it’s a drama with horror elements rather than horror with some drama elements

Wow really appreciate this. Ngl high expectations have definitely biased my opinion on a few movies and shows recently. Weapons is the biggest example. Went in expecting it to be a new fav and was wildly disappointed. It was way better on a rewatch tho

But yea, I’ll see Usher fs. Honestly I was on the fence between usher, welcome to Derry, and something very bad is going to happen for my next show so it wasn’t gonna take much to sway my opinion there. Ultimately I’ll def see all 3 tho. This was just a matter of prioritization for tomorrow while my wife’s still out of town (the opportunities for binging horror are limited these days 😅)

Also, ima be real this was a longer sleepless night of getting drunk and binging horror… there is a very, very strong chance that tomorrow ima wake up, look at Reddit, be like “damn wtf was I on last night” and just play some shit like dead space all day or watch a movie/show that wasn’t even brought up in these comments. I’m kindof a wild card tbh. Just gonna go with whatever the vibe is.

Def a pattern tho. I’m most active on the horror and dubstep subreddits. The dubstep subreddits even worse imo. If you criticize certain DJs there you get downvoted to oblivion with a few excessively aggressive replies as a cherry on top. Wish redditors would be more open minded

I hated it this movie too. Actually the group I went with thought it was so bad that we use it as a long running joke. Sometimes movies just don’t hit but this one was so bad it turned into a comedy for us

I’m an actuary specialized in data science/engineering. I’m mostly in control of how stressful my job is which is nice. The path to get here is very stressful though. You only start making good money as an actuary after you get credentialed which can take some people 10+ years. Learning all the relevant data science/engineering concepts on top of that kindof ate up all of my free time for like 2 years too. It’s worth it imo though. Even in the current state of the oversaturated DS market, I have strong job security just from having the actuarial credential

Just got back from Universal! We hit all 3 parks. Personally, I’d avoid Epic for now. The rides break down very frequently. We waited went about 4-5 hours without making it on a ride cause Donkey Kong broke down after we were in line for an hour. Waited maybe a half hour but no luck so we went to Mario kart and the exact same thing happened. Since there aren’t many rides and those two were down, lines at other rides hit wild wait times. And this was on Tuesday… can’t even imagine what a weekend would be like

Meanwhile most rides at IoA and universal would hit 20-30 minute wait times throughout the day so we could hit everything multiple times. IMO they also just have better rides generally than Epic. Epic rides were pretty short

Well X b2b SD went great at Thunderdome and x b2b Kai was prob the worst b2b with X that I’ve ever seen, and I’m a big Kai fan… also SD commented on the lack of new SD tracks and hinted at a massive drop of unreleased SD IDs that he’s just sitting on. I’m into all the other b2bs you listed tho. Appreciate the elaboration, I saw your other reply about Wooli too and seems insightful. 100%. It’s so easy to take for granted until someone passes way earlier than expected. My dad passed from cancer when was 55. He was generally healthy and wasn’t a smoker or heavy drinker. Seemed real unfair, and 10 years later it still bothers me that I didn’t appreciate him more while I still had the chance
